Riga 2016 should happen, but it won't. My vote is Latvia-bound though. This was close to perfection.

Top 5 seems highly possible now. I'm so happy for the country of Latvia! They really deserve a good placement after all this time.

So I finally get a chance to post and celebrate this amazing result with you guys:D
I wore my Latvian flag proud tonight in Eurofan Cafe (even if most people thought it was Austrian....that's a different story lol) but I'm thrilled after a long drought for Latvia to qualify with such an amazing and worthy entry, and with the first year of Supernova too. It just goes to show you that at the end of the day, quality will win through regardless of the country that sends it:)
It is a little bittersweet as my own country (Ireland) didn't make it but I have been so emotionally invested in Love Injected this year that I am just thrilled with this result more than anything:D

I am beyond proud of Aminata. She must be a national hero right now. Her performance was a rare one in Eurovision, one that gives the impression of a performer giving absolutely everything they have vocally and emotionally.

She makes it look so easy and so difficult at the same time.

So everyone…Aminata and Måns are staying pretty neck-and-neck on YouTube, and Aminata is also in the top 5 on chart presence…and with the juries…

Watching it again today my respect is only increasing. The song was already my favourite, but just look at how it's sold. That staging is so sickeningly good it really blows my socks off. And my pants.

I don't understand it, every act is given the same stage. It's really good at creating big expansive effects, much like last year. Some songs don't need that, some songs want to pretty much deny the stage even, but most songs really need to turn that stage into an advantage. I have been very surprised that up till now, pretty much no one really 'got' what the stage could do. Most acts rely on the backdrop screen to get some atmospheric visuals going, a tactic that is both easy and effective, but there have not been a lot of acts that combined this in a highly effective way with the rest of the stage. I felt Georgia did this particularly well on Tuesday, essentially using the many effects to make the backdrop look like it was 3D. Very nice. But what Latvia did here is simply magnificent. This is what the Vienna stage can do and this is the first time we're even seeing it. Such a shame, but I'm glad that Latvia is the one act that did 'get it'. Awesome.

Aminata was just stunning!!! xlove I think I had orgasm when seeing this live, goosebumps all over my body throughout the whole performance!
I will be mad if this doesn't finish in top 5 at least. Too bad I'm in Austria and can't vote for her.

Her voice is orgasmic, girl didn't even struggle a bit :? She's truly blessed with a voice like that. Her song is a bit weird though, it starts great but after that it becomes repetitive and goes nowhere. Anyway, congrats!

It's a good production, well co-ordinated staging, and the performance sounds alright, and those are the main things Eurovision is about these days. I'd take it over over hyped ones like Sweden, Estonia, Slovenia any day. But Georgia is done at least as well but hasn't had any hype, that's weird.

Latvia is well ranked in the charts, 6th compare to others countries (with Sweden, Russia, Belgium, Estonia and Israel before). People liked it! i'm so happy for her.

It was different from everything other country so I guess that's a good thing. No doubt she's a great singer but I don't really like the song. It's... weird.
