But I have to say I prefer her old outfit (orange/blue) to the red dress..

But live vocals are better now than earlier.. :)

Her live vocals were better in the winner's performance than in the first performance, that doesn't usually happen to anyone

Or not? Some of us want the songs we like the most to win, regardless of how well they will do. ;) I'd rather send an amazing song and flop, than send a terrible one and win.

What's amazing and what's terrible is of course a matter of taste. What I like about Love Injected besides the ambitious composition and the good performance is that it aims to push the conventional limits of the ESC to a more demanding level and more innovative artistry. We have listened to enough "typical Eurovision songs", haven't we?

I think I want to move to Latvia now. What an adorable show they put on for us tonight. If they do this all again next year, i'll be paying close attention straight away and get hyped for it.

They made the right choice really. I'm sad MNTHA came last but oh well. Where else in Europe would something so bizarre and uncommercial come 4th in a contest? But anyway, about our winner, "Love Injected" could potentially take the whole thing at this stage. It's something very atypical in terms of Eurovision, but it's fresh and exciting. Heads are going to be turned. It's a magnificent vocal, not for everyone sure, but I feel this will be massive in May. Aminata is wonderful to watch. She's mysterious but packs a punch, and seems a sweet, humble girl. Her experimental, sparse electronic sound is cool at the moment. It's gonna do well.

I have a new boyfriend now as wellxheat You all keep your filthy, disgusting hands off of him.

I did prefer the semi performance a lot over tonight's, if I'm honest (outfit, vocals, and lack of horrid backing singers), but this song still has that something that makes it my current top :D

This is no instant love for me. Not bad though. It sounds like a solid piece of work. But the voice.. hmm. .. She sounds a bit strained at times. I find feel a bit stressed listening to her for a full 3 minutes.
But even though this will not be one of my favourites in Vienna, I am happy to see that Latvia has a good chance of qualifying.

Oh my gosh, i'm laughing so much listening back to the backing singers in the final chorus. At one stage they literally do channel an elephant. At other times they go for dinosaur realness. Please keep them exactly the way they are. It's crazyxcrazy
