After thinking carefully, I've decided that I've already done in WLSC what had to be done. SmileyLand returned in WLSC 59 to celebrate Trollheimr's departure to NSC only. :D We will be back one more time to WLSC to celebrate the congrats show. It has been a great adventure taking part in WLSC with awesome results! But one has to know when it's time to stop! And I think that time has arrived now. Good luck to all the nations in this sweet contest and see you soon! xwave

Considering NSC is still a bit of a far reality for our little nation xcry, the long time each contests' edition takes, BroadcasterSmileChannel is thinking about returning to WLSC in edition 62. :D As someone we all know would say: "let's see what happens" xrofl2

BroadcasterSmileChannel decided to organise for the first time ever in its short history, a special National Final and invites all the interested Nations (WL and NSC nations) to take part in this decision. The channel's possibilites are Portuguese, Brazilian and even Spanish! And it's up to you to pick your favourite.

First options are two beautiful instrumentals that didn't succeed in the WorldVision Song Contest and the BSC decided they deserve a second chance for SmileyLand:

1) "Lament" -"Lament"- Nuno Malo & Tina Guo
2) "O Tango dos Malandros" -"O Tango dos Malandros"- Rodrigo Leão

The third option is one of my all-time favourite Brazilian songs and singers:

3) "Onde estará o meu amor?" - Sung by a wonderful Brazilian singer called Maria Bethânia. -"Onde estará o meu Amor?" - Maria Bethânia

And the left spot goes to an originally Portuguese song but which was adapted by a Spanish band called "Barahúnda". The poem was written by a Portuguese King (D. Dinis - 1261-1325) who was also a poet. (Medieval poem). The poem is in Galician-Portuguese (also called 'Old Portuguese').

4) "Ai flores, ai flores do verde pinho" -"Ai flores, Ai flores de Verde Pinho"- Barahúnda
