Who will win the fictitious Kate Ryan award? That is the song that's expected to do well but completely flops in the semis (or final), and usually by a young female singer.

One of the Nordic lasses (, and ) seem the obvious candidates for me.

it's quite hyped. Not to the levels that Norway and Denmark are hyped, but it would still be a surprise if it doesnt qualify.

And Norway got it in 2011. Would be tough on them winning it twice in three years.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression the "honor" goes to a song that is considered highly popular that flopped when it counted. I thought qualification wasn't really a factor here. If that's the case then yes, Germany obviously wouldn't apply

I think that will be Netherlands, Norway or Russia. They are overrated this year.
