I'm glad that many people think that, I have to say that I have respect for him and his song but I think that it was a sort of "welcome back" voting too (and for this reason I think that Australia will win this year)

Nah I dont think there was "welcome back" voting going on.
The song is classy, simple but elegant, Italian music at its finest and the juries were always going to love this.
In all fairness this should have won the entire contest, I am listening to this now as I write and I still get goosebumps.
Absolutely amazing.

I think the European audience likes that type of thing from Italy and that's mainly why Raphael did well.

Not the same genre song but Marco pretty much got the exact same televote. He was 10th and Raphael was 11th. Both songs probably feel stereotypical Italian to televoters and that's what attracted them

It´s not against the rules, the thing that some people maybe are getting a little irritated on is that nearly all countries are broadcasting all three shows this year

One person told me that should be taken with a scoop salt, if two buys the same song there, the song jumps very high in their list. But I should take , , , and seriously
