Do you like Israeli entry as well?

It's in my top. 10, it would be a deserving winner because I really think it's time for something fun and uptempo to win this contest again since it's been long overdue, and this is that. It's well produced, it's different yet has mass appeal, it's quirky and smart yet catchy and "guilty-pleasure" feeling to it, it includes local elements yet contemporary sound. So yes, I like it, but it's not in my personal top. 5, but I wouldn't mind if it won. The fact that it already gone viral is something they could build upon if they would win, and I think it could help the Eurovision brand aswell to have an entry that would go beyond Eurovision and not just stay in the bubble as most entries and last years winners have done.

It's not silly when you consider that all the countries have to abide by it, not just Israel. I'm sure Hungary will love to play
their instruments on stage, Albania too and Mikolas to have his camel live and so on - every one else have to adapt to the rules.

At the beginning of the contest, only the singers and songs counted; little by little staging has been taking 1st place prominence.

Well, I was more thinking of special solo instruments which for example could be part of an interaction between singing and the instrument. The type you can have in a live performance, like a violin, harmonica, saxophone, electric guitar etc. The rule excludes the whole concept of solo performances and therefore they are pretty much avoided. How awkward and embarrassing isn't it to see a musician to do a guitar solo in playback? As a guitarist myself I would love to see a skilled emotional live guitar solo on stage.

If you are in Sweden, help us qualify on Thursday, help native language and local composers! :(

I quite like this entry I didn't at first but over the months I have grown to like it. I don't think this song will have any problems getting through to the final tonight. Good luck :)

I don't live in Sweden any longer, but I could still help ;) I want you to qualify (although this is not the right thread for that discussion )

I'm sorry but i find none of this slightly amusing. This is too silly, tacky and cheap for me...can't stand it.

In our pre-show Conchita was criticizing Nettas Lyrics as way to predictive and simple - I think she made a very good point there... From the beginning I couldn't understand why something like "I'm not your boy you stupid boy" could be so successful among Fans... I mean it's such an uninspired way of presenting the message...

Netta's live performance was a bit disappointed. I dont see her as a winner anymore. I even start thinking she can end out of the Top 3

Maybe the song wasn't about a message, they just jumped onto it later.

I think it's a good decision not to make the best video beforehand, because if these high expectations cannot be met, then you loose a lot of impact. Or is it really the case that the song is just not as good as I thought? I'm too confused to be objective on that at the moment! Too much joy for our qualification!

That was an awful performance, I'm actually quite shocked Israel qualified. Maybe it's thanks to the jury just like in 2016 or because the song was strong enough I suppose.

I know it's hardly a surprise, but I'm so salty that Israel qualified. It's just noise to my ears, felt like I was watching the kiddy contest.

Hype helps a lot with juries I suspect.

Oooooh was a bit worried for Isreal after the performance, I think the hyped up days are over for this song, I can see Cyprus taking the crown from Isreal at the moment.

Sorry, but vocally Netta was not good in the second verse, the "human" Looper-sounds sounded awful and the dancers looked kinda agressive. I doubt that this will win or actually go anyway near the Top 5.
