The contest is held in Malmö where lots of groups are planning to disturb the whole contest only because of Israel... xshrug

Well, Russia gets booooo many years and people doesn't seem to care much about it.

And things are different. I'm totally against Israel politics, but that doesn't mean I can't support a great entry and great performance like this one. And I didn't vote for Israel just because I was sure it was going to qualify and I thought I'd waste my vote... :(

When I told people to vote for Israel cause every vote counts, I knew what I said!

Israelis and jews in general are in real danger in Malmö, you don't get it because you're not from here.

Oh, and I totally support Israel's right for self-defense... but that has nothing to do with it and it's unfortunate that some religious and political groups can disturb events here... which they always do when Israel is involved.

Politics must be put aside regardless, so there we agree.

I blame it on her dress, glasses and general appearance. Everybody commented, and warned, about this over and over again in the last couple of month but they just didn't care. These things count more than one thinks. Badly dressed/weird looking contaminate the songs.

While I was one of those that also wanted them to change her clothing and image, I don't think it was the MAIN issue ... although yes unfortunately those things do count...

I'm very sorry for you and some other country's.

But what I read about the dress is true. I did not get much focus on the song but was drawn to boops and the "lights" I saw flikkereing there, thinking wtf she has even lamps there? but it were the glitters?

How this song did not qualify, it's beyond me... I mean, what are the juries supposed to do?

The only song I didn't expect to fail. This should've gone through instead of Malta! It was beautiful. Very sad about that :-(.

The juries are useless, have bad taste, politically motivated, country biased, pro-English and anti-national biased... that's what they're "supposed to do" here :(

Well, if SMS votes in Spain didn't cost 1,45 euros, I'd have had more votes and some of them would've flied to Israel :(

Apparently they don't like big vocals all the time ;)

I also smell politics in here... plus the ballad was in native language and actual a serious ballad and not some cheesy imported crap like Russia and Georgia sent...

I don't know how they select jury's. Are it all professional people who know much about music or are it for instance teeangers who won the voice or idols?

I think the juries are chosen with only two guidelines:

- Turn this into another copy of Idol/The Voice/X-Factor
- Turn it into a homogeneous dated pop mix where English should be the last remaining language used.
