I'm in love with Ryan from that cute audition of Britain's Got Talent. Maybe not for Eurovision, maybe a Non qualifier, but is
Ryan....so i like It. It's his genres, love It or hate It. 12 points.

Much to my surprise, I actually really like this song  It has a really sweet personal feel to it - it's not overly complicated or trying to show off at all. The verses meld nicely into the choruses - there's none of this buildbuildbuildCOLLAPSE that seems to be around a lot this year. Sure, maybe a sweeping bridge would help it stand out more (don't get me wrong, I hardly think it's going to do well!) but with the right staging it could have that gorgeous intimate touch. Video works really well for the song too. I am, ofc, reserving full judgement until I've heard him live as that will play a big role, but it's certainly a lot more promising than I had hoped!!

This is incredibly bland and forgettable. Even if it's not the worst song at all, I can see it has the bottom place written.

OMG Homosexuals in Eurovision... please call the police xpolice

Back to 2018... I actually like the song and unlike other "gay" songs, I don't find this forced (Saara Aalto can you hear me?) ... the only thing that kind of spoil it was COSTA, I don't really like their carrot cakes.

I had a secret love for Ireland 2017 - and still can find my self singing "I'm dying to tryyyyyy......xsing"...

Although this is not a bad piece of music, I cant see myself singing "Together", not in May, and certainly not one year from now.

But I like the simplicity of the song, it has a nice arrangement, it is nicely put together, the vocals are fitting the song nicely - it's just that it becomes too nice. Nice, nice, nice... I am afraid this will be forgotten, Probably most people will feel that it is a "nice ballad" - but not good enough to stand out, or to vote for. At least that is the impact Ryan has left on me.

Well crafted mellow pop song but hey, Ireland, you’re stuck in the late 90’s. WAKE UP FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE!

The last time they won this f*cking contest. How funny it is! Do they plan to be back into business as soon as possible or...?

it's cute but RTÉ will have to do wonders to make this stand out (maybe a giant air balloon ? I don't know). The others slow songs are more Inyourface.

Nice brave entry Ireland. It sounds sincere and heartfelt. 8 pts though it's a bit repetitive and I really dislike falsetto.

This is lovely! The song keeps a nice pace, I really like Ryan's voice and the video is adorable xlove Hopefully this time Ireland will have good staging and good vocals, unlike last year where I also liked the studio cut of Dying to Try and then live was a disappointment :(

It's a tough semifinal and I'm aware of that but I'm still going to root for this one very hard, I'm here for the surprise qualification xcheer

8 points, good luck Éire!

Also, I do not support the promotion of the songs that are just kind of there and don't really make much of an impact at all when you're done listening to them agenda on Eurovision

4 points. Video's cute, though.

Ireland, what are you doing with me? I'm hopelessly in love with this. It's so beautiful and emotional and sweet - I can't even! But I'm afraid it's going to end up like in 2015. I loved Molly but the song was too sweet for the big stage. It got swallowed up by the big stage. It'll probably happen to this song as well but I still love every part of it xlove I'm probably going to be the only die hard-fan of this but I don't care

It seems like Ireland doesn't care anymore. RTE needs to handle Eurovision to another channel, with this non-event a 5th year in a row as NQ will definitely happen.
And even worse, it's a manipulative attempt. What a pathetic desesperate search for votes of gay community. Bad for them, the song is so dreadful no one will care enough to waste their money on this. Rightfully so.

I'm not sure it's 100% settled yet. Ireland was a fairly close 13th in the semi last year (86 points, with the qualification threshold being 101) with Dying to Try, which had rather crappy staging and wasn't really any better than this new attempt.

I wouldn't be backing Ireland for qualification myself, and I'd say their qualification chances are on the lower end, but it may not be quite as clear-cut as you expect.
