Re: HUNGARY 2018

RIP "Crack My Code." It had no chance because it's so antithetical to the entire A Dal ethos, but it was so much fun. xheart

If Meggyfa doesn't qualify I'll bomb MTVA headquarters

I'd buy them whatever they want if they bury him in the semi final..

I did now:D xlove

I'm going to be so mad when this gets eliminated.. the juries don't seem to like this wonderful song. It didn't even get 40 points xcry1

You know that jury in A Dal is set up the way to praise pitch perfect live singing..if you have some problems with live singing you can't get the highest marks..it was always like that in A Dal festival, and they don't tend to vote ethnic entries with highest marks...despite of that last year Joci Papai won thanks to televoting..

maybe you're right... i don't know xthink

I see A dal as a show where the jury picks 4 of their favorites for the public to choose from.

But their criteria is live singing...and Ham Ko Ham's song is not very difficult song to sing..it doesn't have some high notes, some izdržavani tonovi (I don't know to say that in English :D), difficult vocal sections..

Papa Joci won the jury voting in the final though. A Dal jurors are weird, they give him a lot more points in the final then they did in the heat and the semi

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Is it only me or Bármerre jársz is kind of sampling this in the beginning:

The "hey na na na" parts seem suspicious to me.

I think it might be only a coincidence. The two songs don't sound similar to me.

Btw, the performance was undoubtedly better than last week. But it's still not my cup of tea. Though I like how they involved a little Gypsy language.

It shows from the scores that the app vote is back :D
SativuS' public score went down from 8 to 5. :(

SativuS is way too underrated... I guess people don't want to see them in the final...

Re: HUNGARY 2018

So the first three finalists of A Dal 2018 are:
Gergely Dánielfy 47 p
Zsolt Süle 45 p
Gábor Heincz 42 p

Leander Kills with 41 p narrowly missed out on the top3, but they have good chances to be the televoting pick after getting a 8. Let's see.

Re: HUNGARY 2018

I'm happy about the qualifiers. I've been rooting for Zsolt Süle since the beginning and I love Biga's song as well, catchy, happy, I can't help singing along.
As for Leander Kills, I was scared they would get eliminated and Roland would qualify instead of them. They really overdid that performance with the violin and the piano, I had to agree with the jurors - less is more. I want them to perform the original version of the song in the final.
Gergely Dánielfy was once again fantastic, I have a feeling he will be our representative... Though I'm afraid people would say he's just copying Salvador...

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Hmm, Danielfy only got 8 points from the televoters? I'm not convinced that's going to be anywhere near enough to win the contest especially when four entries next week all got 9 points in their heat. Meggyfa still seems like the public favourite considering Horvaths performance last week has over double the views of AWS, Danielfy and Yesyes and almost double that of Viktor despite being on YouTube for half the time
