Not wanting to dance anymore, but I must dance
Re: HUNGARY 2018

Meggyfa (Tamás Horváth) is giving me Kendji Girac vibes. I wouldn't be upset if it won.

That being said, I LOVED Viszlát nyár (AWS), Nem szól harang (Leander Kills), and Vigyázó (Nova Prospect) xhbang

Re: HUNGARY 2018

All 30 songs are out finally. Here's the playlist on A Dal's official youtube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H3ZrX4n3y4&list=PLm8OlBbs2NtyMLsbz57ZqAafX4y3RiStx

A ranking recap; I dont necesseraly agree with the ranking, I chose this cause its a good quality one with long enough parts to judge, for someone who doesnt want to listen to all 30 in full, but would like to be familiar with them:

My Top3 before the live shows start
Meggyfa by Tamás Horváth
Azt mondtad by Gergely Dánielfy
Levegőt! by Noémo
Plus I also like some other songs like SativuS, AWS, Roland Gulyás etc.
If I had to bet now, I'd say Tamás Horváth will be our entrant. Given ofc that he is in the jury's Top4. We will know more after the first 3 heats.

Re: HUNGARY 2018

My top 10:
1. yesyes - I let you run away
2. Dánielfy Gergely - Azt mondtad
3. Leander Kills - Nem szól harang
4. Süle Zsolt - Zöld a május
5. AWS - Viszlát nyár
6. Living Room - Kirakat élet
7. #yeahla, Eszes Viki - 1 szó mint 100
8. Vastag Tamás - Ne hagyj reményt
9. Fourtissimo Elecride - Kisnyuszi a kalapban
10.Gulyás Roland - Hypnotized
...
When I first saw the participants, I was most excited about Viktor's song, but it turned out to be quite a disappointment... :(
Some parts in Satellites remind me of Give me love by Ed Sheeran, for instance the last lines: One last time//Give me love. On the other hand, I love the song and it's in my top 15.
Meggyfa is good, but it's nothing special for me unfortunately. :(

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Hungary is my absolute favourite Eurovision country. I really hope they win soon :) Unfortunately none of these songs really live up to 'Origo'. However, Meggyfa is easily the best song here. Hopefully Hungary picks it and continues their trend of fantastic entries :)

A Dal... undoubtedly the worst year in a while. I'm interested for the live performances, because none of these wildly stand out from the other. But Tamás Vastag is my favourite from Heat 1, I guess. And Noémo.

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Terrible results as always, Fourtissimo were the best, even the public gave them 8 points, but the jury destroyed them... My other favourite Gabi Knoll hardly qualified and am very shocked by the low points from the public (6)...

Re: HUNGARY 2018

^^ Yeah I didnt really understand those low marks from the juries to Fourtissimo after the nice words they had to them. Too bad they weren't the televote pick, now we will sadly have to listen through Tamás Vastag again. :?

Noémo's song was my fave from this heat, but unfortunately she was as nervous on stage as she was in 2014. On the other hand Viktor Király's great live really lifted a song I didnt like before.
All in all it was quite an uninteresting heat for me. btw Ever since we have 3 heats (since 2013) I always found heat1 to be the worst. So I'm looking forward to the other two. :)

By the way, the performances are already available on YouTube

Yay Ceasefire X qualified, one of the only acts I liked in A Dal this year :D (the other one was Noémo - Levegőt!)

Knoll Gabi's performance is fantastic! :D

I'm sad Noémo - "Levegőt!" is out.. :( but her vocals were shaky..

I like Leander Kills - "Nem szól harang", but I'm not a big fan of the genre..

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Süle Zsolt - "Zöld a május" was really GREAT I can say...it makes such a pleasent atmosphere....the violin part is STUNNING!! xbow

I quite liked Viktor Király - "Budapest Girl" which comes as a surprise for me..

Ceasefire X - "Satellites" is so so, it has some nice parts..but it need a lot of work, he is shaky at parts..

Tamás Vastag - "Ne hagyj reményt"...hmmmm no..
