This surprised me a lot. Not just the performance but my reaction to it. I didn't like the song before and never listened to it but I really liked the live performance. It's even my favorite from this semi now and I wouldn't mind it winning on Saturday either. I didn't see this coming.

Spot in the final: 21st, between Sweden and Israel.

Last year this spot was given to... Germany.

Not brilliant. I'm guessing they didn't do that well in the semi?

Being between Israel and Sweden doesn't worry me much actually because AWS's song is memorable and the staging too. Would there have been another Pop song, that probably would have killed it, but that powerful and expressive song will be remembered. No matter if you like it or not. AWS will slay it, I am sure. Don't worry!

I still think that at best we get a result between the 15th and 20th place. AWS is nowhere near as beloved as Pápai was last year.

You might be right, but this could surprise with a better Position as well. Actually I have no clue myself. But I am just eternally glad that we will see them again tomorrow! And that the world will see this awesome, soulful song!

Not a big fan of Rock, but they completely sold it, the performance embodied the "chaotic anger" the song presents and they did a "rock show" out of it (I got a bit of Nirvana/Kurt Cobain vibes of the lead singer). I think it deserved to qualify, but as a song I'd say not higher than top. 15 for me in the final.

The number 21 in itself doesnt mean that much.
But by the way the year before Jamala was #21.
Hungary too had it not long ago with András-Kállay Saunders.

This will make Sweden and Israel look bad. Put raw energy next to sterile plastic and chicken music, who wins?

And it 2016 it was given to.... Ukraine, who won!

I'm still confident this is coming top 5 with the televoting.

I like the fact that Hungary sends original acts but this entry doesnt do it for me, sorry guys I did give it a try buy listening to it more often as certain songs sometimes grow on you but not this time. 12 points for originality though:lol:

I still won't give up on my hopes to see AWS win. I want to trust in the intelligence and lucidity of the viewers...seriously, do we really want a Beyonce wannabe with a song that sounds equal to other million songs, to win the show?

Unfortunatelly, a lot of people still disregard it as noise (which is weird for me, but whatever). I'm not even sure juries will rank it accordingly or have prejudice against it.

This is, for me, the most genuine and emotional entry of the year. It gives me goosepumps everytime and feels me up with raw energy.

But it has no chance of winning, i think :( Even the odds are sort of snubbing them.

I am always thinking of Lordi though. Never thought that was winning. Though you can't compare AWS with Lordi. But still ... but I guess I doubt it also. But I still believe in a good place.
