I can't blame the Greekies for picking this after the disastrous live performances we've watched in this final, but this ballad is really boring and bland + Elena may be the best singer tonight, but she's not charismatic at all.

I loved (or liked very much) every single Greek song since 2005, but this glorious period comes to the end. This is the first Greek entry I dislike in many years and it happened to be the same year when Cyprus sent their worst entry ever IMO. Having both, Greece and Cyprus, in the bottom of my ranking, is so weird and sad :?

3 points and just for the vocals.

For me totally opposite , can't wait to vote Greece in May!

You're obviously forgetting about Rise Up, which gave them their worst result in like...20 years or something. That was the worst Greek song I've sever heard. Now they can actually return to the contest with some dignity imho.

No, I'm not forgetting because I did NOT dislike "Rise up". IMO that song was obviously robbed. It was a great song and a very energetic and entertaining show. Even my mum who is not a fan of this music at all said it was one of the best songs last year.

I guess we have different conception of what's dignity then

God, Greece has picked more Cypriot than Greek artists lately

Anna Vissi, Loukas, Eleftheria, Sarbel...

Yeah! Many Cypriot singers are coming to Greece to make a career in music, so...

I loved "Rise up'..Anna Vissi, "Rise up" and this are the best post 2000 Greek entries for me..

I gave the song 6 points in the poll. I think that seems about fair to start with. I don't love the song but it's more than decent, mainly thanks to Maria. I love how she sings with an English accent I'm sick to death of European girls whining ballads in a faux squeaky American accent all the time (no offense to American's, I love a lot of American songs and the accent also).

I was watching ESC last year with my whole family and they reacted with horror when that came on. Not helped by the garbage vocals, especially by the talentless rapper kid.

As far as I'm concerned, Greece are back on form after a blip, and the results will show it in May.

Good luck to Maria Elena, she was the best tonight! All the others were almost out of tune, Saya was so nervous and out of tune the whole song and that's a pity because she has a nice voice! Barrice was mediocre, Thomai was good but nervous and the choreography was a little mess, and C-real was just ok.
I'm glad for our choice, because i know that we''ll have an excellent staging in Vienna, and NOW is the time to see if the Juries will vote us, if they won't vote us this year, they will never vote for us.

As far as I'm concerned, Greece are back on form after a blip, and the results will show it in May.

We will see. But I even fear this might be the first year Greece stays in the semifinal. To do well with a ballad you must stand out and this clearly doesn't.

It could qualify though if juries like her vocals and if Greek diaspora votes for it, but this not going any further than "Rise up". Not this year.

Voltaj is fave to win in your country, no? They also have a ballad! I quite like it!

If they do not change it, yes, most probably will remain my favorite (though, there are some who start to catch up). But Voltaj is better than this. The lyrics are better and it really gives me some genuine feeling. Technically speaking, Maria wins, but her song lacks feeling,she doesn't have the power of getting deeper, she doesn't connect with the audience in a real way,it's just a nice moment.

Well deserved winner.
She was the best tonight.
Although she didnt have the best song.
BUT, its all about the performance this night.
I dont blame our decision.


ps Not forget to say that Cyprus made a 4/4 in our National Finals.
Whenever an artist from there was candidate in our NF, they won (Sarbel 2007-Loukas 2011-Eleftheria 2012-Marilena 2015).
