I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel

Sorry

I really don't care (ah, ah-ah) that you want to bash me (ah-ah, ah-ah)
Do it with flair and I'll let you be (I'll let you be common Eileen)
But don't you dare (don't you dare), mmm, to get angry (to get angry)
When you realize those words just don't hit me
What?

'Cause I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find anothеr way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wigglе with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel hate

Sorry

I really don't mind (ah, ah-ah) to be your rival (ah-ah, ah-ah)
'Cause for your kind it's essential for survival (say what? He did not just say that)
Yes, I did (yes, I did), and I feel sorry (so sorry)
I don't feel hate, that's the whole point of this song (that's the song)
I guess you need patronization as some kind of validation
You won't cope with the frustration that your random me-fixation
Is another affirmation that you're just a hateful person
Who's not really better than me

Tap break, uh

I don't feel hate (don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (wear me down)
Meine Damen und Herren
But I don't feel hate (no, no, no)
Das war's mit "I Don't Feel Hate"
I just feel sorry (just feel sorry)
Ich hoffe, Sie haben noch ein derbe nices Leben, und bis bald
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel hate (no, no, no, no)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (don't wear me down)
But I don't feel hate (I don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
So you can wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel

I feel so much hate right now - I just set the world on fire (they deserved it for inventing the ukulele).
Btw, did you spot the tiny instrument being thrown into the fire?

Seriously, we fans don't deserve to be treated like this...

I was so close in applying for Polish citizenship today.

I didn't spot the ukulele in your avatar. Such art. Is that the ukulele bonfire I promised the world would see one day?

I feel kind of bad for finding the whole thing entertaining. I know exactly what it feels like to be frustrated by your own country at the contest and so I shouldn't laugh.... but..

Oh man, it's funny. I'm really looking forward to the music video. I almost wish the full thing hadn't leaked before hand so we could all be together both aurally and visually shook at the same time.

It would have been funny if it had been the UK or Latvia but seeing my own country submitting a pile of shit to Eurovision is unaccetable. I can't believe I'm saying this.. but I did prefer "Perfect Life" and "Sister" to it.

The only type of whistling I accept is the one accompanying the process of burning that ukelele and send it back to El Diablo's empire where it does belong to.

I did warn everyone about ukuleles though. There's a reason the ukulele has been my number 1 enemy for many years now.

@Mainshow at least you can tap into your Pole within. I never have any escape really  There's a teeny weeny bit of French in my blood but not enough for them to adopt me as their own (and usually I don't want them to anyway).

I mean I DOUBT it will hit top 10. But I would't be suprised with a top 15. I mean if there's people who vote for "DoReDoS" or "Yodel it" stuff, I'm pretty sure there's a crowd for this.
EXCUSE YOU doredos had no annoying ukelele or whistles so don't compare those two pls IOTAP

Jurys wont vote for this no matter how perfect the staging is. Jendriks voice is very weak, he is not a great singer and the song of course is very cheap. I suppose that germany chose that song because of the performance. And really you cant get that melody out of your head wether you like it or not. a good televote is possible.

I don't think that is true tbh, he is singing musicals after all and you might check out that live performance for his grandad on his instagram. I also dont think the song is very difficult to thing. But yeah, juries obviously won't go for it. For me it is the fast talking that ruins a lot.

It's a mess, I love it.
I don't know how to score it, maybe a 6. I can totally see him in some sort of a musical, walking and jumping around people across the stage with a cane in one hand, a hat in the other, and flowers. A lot of flowers. It's just the type of song where you pause your brain for a song and just enjoy your inner child.

The most annoying thing about this song is the message, so cheesy... and that ending speech, what the hell lol. Apart from this, I expected something far worse from the reactions on this forum. It's actually quite catchy... I dig it. Protect this little ray of sunshine called Jendrik at all cost xrunhug

Edit: Listened to it a few times now, screw it, 12 points xdance2 So much personality that almost all of the entries in the past years lacked. Der Hamburger Jung ♥

unfortunately this is too cringe for me to enjoy my inner child. as someone mentioned it sounds like a theme song for Art Attack or Play-Doh add.

He made the music video himself, it was insane! He made a thousand (15 or so that is) videos on Instagram how he did the video, it’s hilarious! If you had seen them you‘d know why I stan him. He bought 18 (?) broken washing machines on eBay and and sprayed them all with silver color, he made the middle finger costume himself, he directed the video himself and made the whole setting with his family and friends who are also part of the video. It is amazing!

I don’t know why y‘all are taking him and his song so serious. Why would you sing perfectly in a song like this? I know he is able to sing well but it’s not necessary in this song, it’s more like a happy sing-along... I really hated Malta‘s „Tomorrow“ some years ago - it was a similar song but way too serious (by the way, it ended up top 10 iirc) while Jendrik is PURE FUN!

But what can I say... Moustache was my favourite song of ESC 2014, so that‘s all you need to know about my taste of music! 😂

I edited that for you. ;)

Well, we all have different definitions of fun, and that´s ok, but when I see his videos I simply feel uncomfortable, this over the top happines is something I really can´t stand. That´s the main reason why I hated "Happy" by Pharrell Williams back in the day, because it wanted to force you to smile in my opinion.

But hey, there are still more songs to come in the season, soo even if :de: is crap I can still enjoy them. xheya

You will hate it for sure! :ROFLMAO: But hell, after the snippet, I expected the worst and got the best! xheat I like the self-irony and the irony behind the song and as midnightsun stated, Jendrik did everything himself. He is really dedicated to ESC like I have hardly seen before. Some people call the song messy, but I rather would call it provocative. That's exactly what he intended. I don't think that he ever aimed for the victory with this song, he rather wants to polarize and to provoke. And he just did that.

I didn't said it to make you love the song. I let haters hate ... and enjoy the song. xmusic

Mhm, I´m not so sure about that. For me you came across a bit like this silly Jehovas Witnesses who wanna sell their magazine, "The Watchtower" I think it´s called.

Well, we´ll be once again strongly disagree on this song, let´s make the best out of it. xshrug

The difference with Jehovas Witnesses is that Mauve probably doesn't secretely hope to lure you into a cult, cut you off from the world possibly including most of your family and collect a big part of your money while pretending she just does her thing and lets everyone else do theirs ;)

Even though... Could we possibly recruit some people here for our new religion of we-don't-feel-hate-rs, thus blessing the world with some new noble WDFHrists? :sneaky:
