That being said, I won't be in the fan club either, but unlike France, Spain and Albania, I can listen to the full song. Is Germany trolling us? The song is juvenile and cringey. While I do appreciate the positive vibe the song is sending, but it borderline feels like you are hearing someone who is annoyingly and overly positive speak and you just cringe & feel like punching that person. How did they go from "Violent Thing" to this is beyond me. I can't see juries giving this any point. Last place confirmed.
I will give this 1 just for his pretty face & the brass drop of the song and that's all once the poll is up.

This.. whatever it is does actually just about reach so bad that it's good territory. Like come on, it's absolutely hilarious. It pisses me off tremendously but I also couldn't stop laughing. This song has a NERVE. It's so goddamn obnoxious. Squeeze every annoying thing you can think of into a three minute piece of music and you have this song. It's Saturday morning kids tv mixed with advert jingles that nightmares are made of (the ukulele and whistling are excruciating), and then put all of that on speed and have Germany's answer to a question no one asked get all sassy with us. They're trolling us and the contest so hard here. The drop is genuinely clever as it's just so random and silly. It's impossible not to react to it in some way. It's like there's two Pat Sharps on either side of you tugging violently at your arms. It's uproariously invasive. I feel very attacked and yet I'm laughing. The balls on display here are astonishing, and by balls I mean those colourful rainbow ones you find in a kids ball pit cause this is going to be a major hit in all children's adventure playgrounds across Europe once we say our final farewell and now kindly f**k off to Mr. Covid19. We'll all be with slushy in hand (my choice of flavour being blue raspberry) and ready to dive into some soft balls with the manic, sassy tones of Jendrik Sigwart.

Lmao to leak on Vocaroo of all places, kind of fitting for the quality of...this.

It's pretty much what I expected, like a jingle in some excessively happy and cheery commercial plus some extra layers of cartoonish lyrics masquerading as some kind of deep message lol i can't. There's such a thing as toxic positivity and this song feels like the musical embodiment of that to me. The chorus is straight outta Disney Junior.

I can already picture the staging of this, sunshine and flowers and saccharine levels that will kill me after five seconds. Basically Leonora and her "Love is Forever" come again. Ugh.

Maybe it would've been funny if this wasn't the 41241244th turd Big 5 serves us on a silver platter. It's not funny anymore.
