I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel

Sorry

I really don't care (ah, ah-ah) that you want to bash me (ah-ah, ah-ah)
Do it with flair and I'll let you be (I'll let you be common Eileen)
But don't you dare (don't you dare), mmm, to get angry (to get angry)
When you realize those words just don't hit me
What?

'Cause I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find anothеr way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wigglе with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel hate

Sorry

I really don't mind (ah, ah-ah) to be your rival (ah-ah, ah-ah)
'Cause for your kind it's essential for survival (say what? He did not just say that)
Yes, I did (yes, I did), and I feel sorry (so sorry)
I don't feel hate, that's the whole point of this song (that's the song)
I guess you need patronization as some kind of validation
You won't cope with the frustration that your random me-fixation
Is another affirmation that you're just a hateful person
Who's not really better than me

Tap break, uh

I don't feel hate (don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (wear me down)
Meine Damen und Herren
But I don't feel hate (no, no, no)
Das war's mit "I Don't Feel Hate"
I just feel sorry (just feel sorry)
Ich hoffe, Sie haben noch ein derbe nices Leben, und bis bald
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel hate (no, no, no, no)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (don't wear me down)
But I don't feel hate (I don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
So you can wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel

Tumblr, mostly.
I would like a "Cake to bake". I've always liked that song (as does anyone with a sense of humour), but that would imply having trust in Germany getting 'it' right. I don't know. Germany are too inconsistent to really have faith in them.

I just am listening to a German reaction from ESC Kompakt. At some point they say that there was also Song writing camp, but that Jendrik "outperformed" all of them. So even though I am still sceptical, I have hopes that the song might be something special.

Are you and your brother still in touch with each other? That does not seem self-evident to me.
More power to you for having the courage to confess though, that is a lot!

We don't really speak now. He caused me too much embarrassment. To think there's a ukulele somewhere still in my house

Ooo this cat makes a different kind of sound with his ukulele though. Maybe there's some hope here? I could tolerate those 23 seconds.

looks really good for germany this year so far. for sure there have been the best of the best songwriters involved in the selection progress. a no name songwriter made it. it must be an outstanding song. the guy for sure is a bit controversial escpecially. for us austrians his humour is a no go. but it is the three minutes that will count and i expect something special. probably we need some positive vibes this year.

Wait, did I enter a parallel universe where people actually want entries like "Cake to Bake" and genuinely find them "funny"?

I know right? That's exactly the kind of entries that give Eurovision a bad reputation, it's baffling that there are some people who enjoy them.

I'm surprised too. When I would be an objective German, I would say: "Hier wird mit zweierlei Maß gemessen" (I'm paraphrasing: "Two standards are used here").

Because there are two standards. It can go either way: "Cake To Bake" (Latvia) or "Tomorrow" (Malta).

Always nice to see entries judged before they could be listened to...
I know a thread in this forum where there is plenty of that

How do people even come up with Cake To Bake, there wasn't even an ukulele involved if memory serves right...?

Indeed there wasn´t but for me the "fresh" vibes from the presentation videos give me the same feelings while watching the performance of "Cake to bake" - which is positive for me, because I like "Cake to bake" :-)

I don't know why but I guess he will be sending something similar to Hungary or Malta 2013. I wouldn't care indeed, we need good happy-peace songs in Eurovision (Denmark 2019 not a good example btw ).
