I doubt this influences anyone's vote

Well not you or me, but i'm sure to the average viewer will be less likely to 'like' a song if they've not long heard it get completely ripped apart by some 'experts' on a television programme. It's why a lot people are against the jury votes being released before the public voting is over in NF's.

I would not call any of those "experts", the only one close but far away still is Björkman. And if you are judging song completely depending on what so called "experts" think, I´m afraid it tells a bit more about you than them. They have a opinion, you have an opinion, it may be different but that´s the point

This is THEIR opinion. And I don´t agree with them either

Well yes, I would use the term expert loosely, but people are still watching and listening to these people. I guess the only way to see the effect of the show on voting is when the split voting is revealed after the final.

I'm not saying it affects it a great a deal but still it is there. France may have got votes because of the jury, but 14th in the televote is still much higher than the majority of Europe where it come 20th or lower.

Still I don´t think it will affect the outcome, I remember for example that :pl: got some trash in our preview, and they came 3rd in the televoting here

GermanBango: I can only apologize for our preview panels opinions xsorry

they were too hard especially that selfgood Saade (he has been a jerk since he won MF 2011, he got high head and still thinks he is a world artist)

I'm sure your Polish diaspora of about 80,000-ish helped in that climb to 3rd though. ;)

I don't know if this was a clever move ... One of the most read German Eurovision Blogs just published an article about that. For me the whole thing smells like a personal revenge for the NDR calling Björkman "premature" ...

So if we flop, it will be because of this?

I think it´s better that all preview programs around Europe should revert back to the old thing (a person just presenting the songs and no more), much of these overdramatic things could be easily avoided

No of course not but it could cost you some german votes if our commentator decides to talk about the whole thing.
Why should one vote for a country in which not even the officials have respect towards others?

Probably but I don´t see any reason why Peter Urban would do that, it´s only their opinion. (don´t take this wrong now)

how would it sound if every commentator from each country would sit and tell all people "this countrys preview program bashed our entry, don´t vote for their entry"

We had a commentator here in :se: called Jan Jingryd (he comment ESC for us in 1990, 1993 and 1997, in 1997 (the first year when we could televote), he said exactly what he felt about each song both good and bad, I can tell you he got heavily critizied afterwards for that, and he deserved it. It was quite embarrasing to listen too

This will get a placing around 12-15th Place I Think, way higher than our preview panel thought.

Viel Glück Deutsch ;)

Probably because what they said is very very insulting. Look, you know how much I love the Swedish entry but even I'm not sure anymore if I'm still gonna vote for it now. Just hope that he doesn't mention anything and that NDR doesn't see this as a "declaration of war" or something

By the way (for the others) that's what they roughly said...
- Ann Sophie's stage manners made one of them panic. She said that Ann sings it in a way a song like that shouldn't be sung.
- One can see that she is very insecure and that's why she is totally overacting on stage
- Ann has no connection to the song itself
- her vocals are a catastrophe
- she seems like a (bad) Lena copycat
- Our "friend" Eric Saade said that he can't imagine her being an artist at all and that one can see that see doesn't belong on a stage.
- Everything about her appears to be plastic and fake
- and Björkman only gave an exclamation of despair and gave her a big fat 0

Of course he will. I have no doubts about that - not everyone is as sensitive towards such insults as I am. It's not his fault at all but when I vote for a song I want it to win ...and I want the country which it represents to host the thing next year ... I'm not sure if I want Sweden to win.... knowing that at least one of those people will be involved next year then.
It's not only what they said towards Ann Sophie but also their arrogant behavior.

I agree on the last sentence, I don't like people with that kind of attitude either.

When it comes to the voting part I would say, vote for the song that feels must good in your heart, that's what I do

The connection between Sweden and Germany wasn't the best before this, too. Last year we gave no points to Undo, one of the best songs in the end. But that what Eric Saade said made my Sympathy for him from -1 fall to - 8. Seriously I am a guy who writes under negative rated videos that they shouldn't dislike the video, because it's disrespectful. If you don't like a song, then say it but don't hate on it.

She's on 25th in the odds atm.

Spot on, but Saade can't be taken seriously anyway, he is just a big jerk that thinks he is something

Yeah, the comment from Saade, especially, was rude (and untrue). But I don't think that the bad review by Infor will hurt Ann Sophie's chances in Sweden, in the end.
The swedes that already dislike Black Smoke will feel comforted in their judgment, while the ones that like it will react with a big fat WTF and will probably double their votes for Ann Sophie on 23rd.
