I agree partially: Ann Sophie really had almost nothing to do with this result, but the song was from the very start not good enough to have any chance.
On the other hand: Austria also got 0 points, and they had a much better song, so the reason for this disaster also lies in the voting system.

Whoa, this wasn't nearly one of my favorites, but i still expected it to do a lot better. There was nothing wrong with the performance and staging at all, but i guess being the weaker of two quite similar entires (though i actually prefer this to Slovenia) plus being DTF made viewers kind of skip over and forget about it entirely, in a final that had too many and too similar entries. Hope this doesn't discourage her totally, i think she was at least in the better half or third of performances that night.... But not a single point, really?!? :?
