Main message from Sweden: "WE are the HEROES", and I think they mean additionally "...and the other countries SUCK".

Ella Eyre, who wrote the song was just on the Paul O'Grady show where she talked about writing the German entry. She said she wrote the song when she was 17 but never released it, then Ann Sophie asked if she could have it and she agreed. Ella only learnt through twitter that her song had been chosen for eurovision in Germany and never knew it was entered.
