Re: GERMANY 2013

I'm sorry but there's no chance that it will be a HandsUp Track... Cascada doesn't want to produce it anymore :(
It will probably be something like Evacuate, Fever, Night Nurse or Pyromania :)

Re: GERMANY 2013

HandsUp is the style, Cascada did from 2004-2009 - it has something like 145bpm, so it is for many people a bit to hardcore, especially the parts without singing...

Example (Typical parts: 0:42 and especially 1:10):

Other example (I love it - 1:02)

Cascada was the artist who made this kind of music to come to comercial sucess, which made something like a pioneer of that style out of them.

Basically this "handsup" is what also been called "Happy hardcore" or "Euro-techno". It's really like a relic from the 90's and VERY German... but in 2013??

It actually worked until 2009 at least. Would be interesting if Cascada would get back to it someday, but I can't imagine this to happen. But imo this style fits quite well on Cascada too:

That's exactly how I imagine Cascada on the ESC stage! With the style of the songs on the album "Evacuate the dancefloor"! Cascada + hands-up song + Eurovision = awesomeness! Now I'm super excited again! xcheer

I'm actually surprised that someone outside Germany/Austria/Switzerland knows her

Don't be, she had a top. 10 hit here and another radio hit aswell, in Norway she even had a #1 hit.

Cascada have just updated their cover picture on Facebook and added Unser Song Für Malmö to their Appointment schedule which means some news are coming up in the next few days, maybe even a preview :)

Definitely not bad although I like the BOOM BOOM from Ben Ivory a bit more  It's just so confusing for me to look into his face. One time I see a woman, the other time I see a man o_O

That song is a cover and will be eliminated, Charlyje! Sissel, for example, sang it years ago. It´s exactly the same song, but yes, I like it, of course.

Both of those songs sound pretty promising... Maybe Germany will have a kick-ass NF this year xcheer

Re: GERMANY 2013

Way to go Germany!!! Of the few clips we've heard so far this seems very promising.

Saint Lu - Craving: a very good song, and a good singer - although I can decide whether I like her voice or not.
Mobilee - Little Sister: Another good happy song, I like the female vocalist!
Blitzkids - Heart on the line: Not too bad. But the vocals dont seem to be the best.
