I actually like it, it is odd, wacky, quirky and joyful. It is actually pretty close to certain works of some bands that I am sometimes listening to like The Pixies or Sonic Youth.

Sebastien Tellier would approve it I think.


It is though lacking a real substance or point in it. And ultimately it is not very good.

I agree with you. It is all summed up in a musical idea that could have had great potential but which has been coarsely worked out.

Me liking this held up for several repeats now, something I can’t say about a lot of entries this year!

Some parts are pretty good and some are irritating. It has an interesting sound but it very repetitive after the first 30 seconds. I'm glad the song is 2:30 and that they didn't drag it to 3 minutes cause it would probably make it worse.

Staging can potentially elevate it but I see a result like 2016 a more likely result.

Does anyone else feel like this is the type of song Poppy would've released during her Am I A Girl/I Disagree era Put her voice and it fits so well in her discog.

Anyway, I had fun until the 2nd minute mark after which I realized how repetitive this is (not in a good way)
