Again Georgia being Georgia. They just don't give a F. The song somehow reminds me of the 60s/70s Indie hipster music mix with the 90's Indies Britpop. Not sure how I feel about it though. It sure stands out for sure, but I don't think I enjoy it that much. Giving a for now.

They have a real music video, they just didnt think it was appropriate to post it because of the war in Ukraine. Also, it sounds like you are accusing them of faking their support for Ukraine, which is ridiculous.

Is there a link for that? I wouldn't call it an accusation, just a snarky remark, I believe these are still allowed. It feels very much on the nose but then again the situation is closer to them and they know better.
No need to get upset, I wasn't being dead serious when writing that comment, just like Georgia wasn't serious when picking their song. this year, last year, the year before that, and then the one before that too.

My expectations weren't very high because I usually don't like this sort of British/Georgian music but I immediately got into this song. There are a lot of different elements used but somehow it's cohesive and while definitely very playful and quirky, it avoids falling into the joke-entry category. The "lock me out, lock me down (...) lock me sideways" part is especially catchy and probably manages to save the song from falling to pieces.

Job very well done, Georgia, you very much exceeded my expectations! It would be a shame if you didn't qualify because Lock Me In is imo better than the majority of songs in semi 2. I think I'll vote for you (if the performance is good).

Georgia is one of these Eurovision countries that is not preoccupied with trying hard to send very competitive entries. But nearly each year they're going into various, unexpected directions - that's why I like their participation.

This is a really interesting one! The first minute or so had me thinking it was in the same "silly" category as Norway and Latvia, but it grew into more of an Indie feel. The latter half of the song sounds like something that would come from MGMT.

I was not expecting a masterpiece. I have seen people claiming that one of their songs called 'Musicien' is superior to 'Locked In' but I disagree. Musicien sounds like elevator music with a small quirk at best.

After a second relistening, I have to admit there are elements in it that have the pontential to be good. But there is nothing that holds them together. It sounds like a bunch of ideas smushed together by chance and due to the lack of more, they just get repeated until another random idea is taken from somewhere which then get‘s repeated and so on.

I'm torn, part of me thinks that Georgia really needs to take a new direction in Eurovision if they want to succeed, but another part of me is also extremely grateful that Georgia hasn't turned into another Azerbaijan/Bulgaria/Cyprus, relying on over-produced pop. I LOOOOVE that they give us something completely different every year, but I struggle to support Georgia because I don't usually end up liking their 'different' songs very much.
