Based on the interview I watched just now ..... With them practicing the choreography, I have a vibe that she might just be our representative next year.
So, they are preparing her for it .....

I agree 100% its crazy its not even favored to get to the final, if it was in semi final 2 would sail through.

This song is a massive grower. I wasn't really a fan at first (I gave it a 6 in this poll) but I think it is more of an 8 or 10 at this point

I like this, as already pointed out plenty of times by others in here, it mixes styles and tempos but the end product actually works... this is probably one of the most current and fresh sounding songs in the contest (although it's not necessary super contemporary but it works just as fine in today's musical climate as it would have five years ago, which in ESC context equals current).

The song is like an odd mix of Alphabeat's "The Spell", Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" & "My Life Would Suck Without You", Adele's "Send My Love" and Tim Berg's (Avicii) "Bromance" (as for the latter, it's obviously not the musical style, rather parts of the melody).

I'm afraid though this won't make it through the semis, partly for being from a small country that rarely has any love from the juries and not sure if the televoting will be helpful enough. I'm afraid that Macedonia will fall on the finish-line once again, which would be unfair because this deserves to qualify atleast.

Yes SF1 is too difficult for this song and even if fans like it, juries won't be that helpful with it!
It should be on SF2!

Well, Moldova f.e. made it to the Final in 6/9 Cases since the Re-Introductions of the Juries. And in this 6 Finalparticipations Moldova made it 4/6 Times in the Jury Top10.
It cant be the Size of the Country. Its rather that the macedonian Entries are usually that bad, that they dont score much Televotes outside of the Diaspora-Zone (Jugoslavia, Switzerland, Albania and Bulgaria).

Well, I think Moldova's entries tend to stand out more (not only in comparison to Macedonia, but generally) and although being a small country, they are sort of part of the whole ex-USSR voting bloc as well...

As for Macedonia, I think they've been underrated plenty of times, with that said they also had some pretty bad attempts but I think for the past years they deserved to qualify in 2015 and 2017 atleast, but that's just my taste.

This year however they really has one of the top. 10 songs in the semis, and I think a "stronger" country would qualify quite easily with this entry wheres they will struggle.

She can sing the absolute pants off this song if that acoustic version is anything to go by.

Well, Moldova has only 3 strong Diasporas (IT,RO,PT) and 2 Mediums (UA,RU). AM,GE and AZ are exactly 0 Connected with Moldova despite being Ex-UdssR-Countries. Macedonias Diaspora-Power in General is a Bit stronger. And in Semi1 they are around 5th-6th in the Diaspora-Ranking if you know what I mean and yet they probably wont make it, while Austria, Belgium or Czech republic probably Qualify despite being "weaker" from a Geopolitical View. So I wouldnt blame the "Weakness" of FYROM, rather the Songquality of previous Entries and this as well, if it fails.

It's not so much about diaspora in Moldova's case, more that there is a bloc connection, but like I wrote also they sent entries that stood out and qualified fair and square on their own merits.

Macedonia has been more jumpy in quality, but I can't agree with you that if this fails it will be based on the quality of the song, because I think that if this song would be sent by "stronger countries", we would have it as a certain qualifier.

So basically this somehow proves a point to all the people that say Eurovision isn't political. Mainly as much as we hate to deny it (me included) ...... It is.
