So, if I understood good, Esma said that she wants to represent Macedonia in the best light and that it's not important if the song is a ballad or fast song and that it's important that it's a good, catchy and memorable song that everyone will remember

Vlatko said that it's a big honour for him to represent Macedonia and work with Esma Redžepova and that he knows that this is a big project and a big responsibility

But not 100% sure tbh, I'm not that good at understanding of Macedonian

oh great! i'm so happy she's going to play a big role in the song this year, she's a living legend! and if the song is anything like Raise Up Your Hand it should go down a bomb in Malmo!

I don't think it will be a disaster, because, unlike Vlatko Ilievski, Vlatko Lozanoski has a nice and pleasant voice. I think it's a good match, because it's a match of fresh blood and long lasting experience. Let's wait for the song first and see if it is a hit or a miss.

As the complete novice in Balkan music I am, I have not heard about either of them before. Esma Redžepova is however on Spotify with among others the latest album Gypsy music vol 3. Instant love of this type of music!!

I know that Esma sang with Toše Proeski song "Magija". That's why I hope they'll make great song and the success in ESC will continue.

MKRTV, the national broadcaster of FYR Macedonia has revealed that Esma Redzepova and Vlatko Lozanoski are currently working on their 2013 Eurovision entry and that it should be ready in late February/early March. Special song presentation show will be aired in order to officially present the 2013 FYR Macedonian entry.

Why do we have to wait so much time... Well if you're going through internal selection, then start early and finish the process as soon as you can.

Rumour: the song is called Opsesija (Obsession) and it's confirmed that Simeon Atanasov is writing/composing Macedonian ESC 2013 entry

He wrote one song for Macedonian NF in 2010:

There were bunch of rumours last year, but it didn't go that way. "Gypsy dance" was a great song, but I doubt that he will be the composer.
