He was! And he did really well (although, I don't understand why ), like a 3rd and a 5th place.

I'm glad for Esma, though I can't imagine the song being good fit with Vlatko unless it is ethno.

Her attempt with Adrian in 2006 was awful, but Vlatko's sound seems to be easy listening/light pop.
It's an interesting combo, either way it'll be cool to see what they come up with.

Just went looking for her on Youtube - she looks and sounds fabulous. Her song Dzelem, Dzelem is perfection. Would love something similar from her for ESC, though I suspect she'll get something more uptempo. Still, so long as the melody is good. At the very least, this is a bold and interesting choice from Macedonia. Can't wait to hear it.

I don't really know Esma and the songs she released in the past, but I do know Vlatko Lozanoski! I love some of his previous songs, but my favourite one is:

I'm very satisfied with their choice and I can't wait to see what they will come up with! It was probably a good idea to pair him up with another singer, because his songs - although they are very good - could be overlooked on Eurovision. Good luck!

So, if I understood good, Esma said that she wants to represent Macedonia in the best light and that it's not important if the song is a ballad or fast song and that it's important that it's a good, catchy and memorable song that everyone will remember

Vlatko said that it's a big honour for him to represent Macedonia and work with Esma Redžepova and that he knows that this is a big project and a big responsibility

But not 100% sure tbh, I'm not that good at understanding of Macedonian
