FSC Norway - August 2024 - Margaret Berger - Karma Is A​

Representing Norway in FSC August 2024, and returning to the FSC for Norway after 7 years, is the talented and famous Norwegian Pop-singer and songwriter of ESC-fame Margaret Berger. Here is some more information about her.

Margaret Berger, born in 1985, came to the attention of the Norwegian public in 2004 when she was one of the participants in the Norwegian tv IDOL show. She ended a great 2nd.

Her debut album, “Chameleon” was released in October 2004. The album reached number four on the Norwegian albums chart and included the singles “Lifetime Guarantee” & the title-track “Chameleon”. The music video for “Lifetime Guarantee” went on to receive the Norwegian Grammy (“Spellemannsprisen”) and she was also nominated in the category “Best Newcomer”.

Her second album, “Pretty Scary Silver Fairy”, was released in October 2006. More Electro-pop focused, its lead single, “Samantha” reached number six on the Norwegian singles chart.

The next years Margaret took a break from music but returned in 2011 with the song “In a Box” which was quite popular in club-circles. That same year, her label Sony BMG issued the 4-track EP compilation “Four Hits: Margaret Berger”, which included the singles “Lifetime Guarantee”, “Samantha”, “Will You Remember Me Tomorrow?” and “Chameleon”.

It was, however, in 2013 that Margaret Berger was to get her international breakthrough with her victory in the Norwegian MGP with the popular Electro-pop song “I Feed You My Love” and a subsequent 4th place at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Malmö, Sweden. The song also reached number four on the Norwegian singles chart and became an international hit.

In September 2013 she released a popular second single with Universal Records called “Human Race”. This was the Norwegian entry in FSC October 2013. It was followed by another popular Electro-pop banger called “Scream”. This was the Norwegian entry in FSC June 2014.

A planned album was never released and Margaret left Universal Records and started her own record label. The reason was she wanted more artistic freedom & independence. In 2016 she released the single “Apologize”, a different-style song with important lyrics. It was followed by the song “Running With Scissors”. This was the Norwegian entry in FSC May 2017.

She took a long break from music after this and returned in 2020 with a few songs in Norwegian. She continued her ‘singing in Norwegian’ folk phase through 2021 and 2022 but then decided to get back to her Nordic Electro-pop roots. The result was the quality song “Oblivion” which entered Norwegian MGP in 2024. And then in April 2024, as part of a single-release with 2 songs (“Songs my friends might want to dance to”), she released the song “Karma Is A”. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in August 2024.

Margaret Berger enjoys being back actively in the music business, she is a very talented pop-artist & songwriter, and I think it is safe to say we will hear more from her in the years to come.

The Norwegian entry for FSC August 2024, “Karma Is A”, is a melodic Nordic Electro-pop song co-written by Margaret herself and performed with style by the artist. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter Margaret Berger again in the FSC for Norway.

FSC #186 - AUGUST 2024 - UNITED KINGDOM

TAKE THAT - YOU AND ME

For August 2024, the United Kingdom is represented by global superstars Take That and their song "You And Me". Formed in 1990, the band currently consists of three of it's founding members - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald. They have recorded 12 number one hits on the UK Singles Chart, whilst also amassing 9 number one albums on the UK Albums Chart. According to BPI, Take That has certified sales of 14.4 million albums and 13.6 million singles in the UK alone. The multi-award winning artists have also been recognised by the Official Charts Company as the most successful boy band in UK chart history.

"You And Me" has been described as a powerful anthem about overcoming adversity through unity and mutual support. Known for their pop ballads and group harmonies, Take That often explore themes of love, hope, and togetherness in their music. "You And Me" fits within this tradition, offering listeners a sense of comfort and encouragement. Following the song's release earlier in the year, it featured in the UK Singles Chart for 7 weeks, peaking at number 6.​

José Eduardo Brito Morales ( Puebla, August 16, 1990), known as Lalo Brito, is a Mexican actor, singer, and songwriter. Notable for having been one of the members of La Nueva Banda Timbiriche and for playing Andrés "Andy" Guiderman in the Nickelodeon series Kally's Mashup and Diego in the Disney+ series Papás por encargo. After finishing the project of La Nueva Banda Timbiriche, he tries to find opportunities with different record labels to start his solo career. However, he fails to get acceptance from any of them, which leads him to feel disappointed and make the decision to move away from music, opting to study Marketing. After a period, he decided to start his career as a solo artist independently, using YouTube as a platform to share his music. This makes him one of the first independent musicians in Mexico to use this platform to present his songs.

Michael Ronda Escobosa ( Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, September 28, 1996) is a Mexican actor , singer, and model , known for his role as Poncho in the series Como dice el dicho, as Simón Álvarez in the Disney Channel series Soy Luna and as Javier Williams in Control Z. He has an Italian father and Mexican mother. Michael Ronda began his career as a child on TV Azteca with small roles in one-off programs such as "Cada quien su santo." In 2021, Ronda began filming the series Papás por encargo, which was released by Disney +, in which she also belongs to the main cast.

Jorge Blanco Güereña ( Guadalajara, Jalisco, December 19, 1991) is a Mexican actor, singer, dancer, and influencer, known for his character León Vargas in the Disney Channel soap opera, Violetta. Blanco began playing guitar at a very early age, and attended acting classes. He also began singing in church choirs at the age of 11. He began his television career in 2007, when he participated in the reality show High School Musical: la selección (Mexico) , which allowed him to participate in a spin-off of the successful American film High School Musical . Despite not winning the reality show, Jorge appeared on the show's album, and had a role in the film High School Musical: El Desafío (Mexico) (2008), playing the character of Jorge, and participated in the tour of the film and the program, between 2007 and 2008.

FSC Norway - September 2024 - KEiiNO - Insomnia​

Representing Norway in September 2024, and returning to the FSC for Norway, is the Eurovision-famous Norwegian/Sami group KEiiNO who won the popular televote in ESC 2019. Here is some more information about them.

KEiiNO, established in 2018, is a Norwegian/Sami Folk-pop group consisting of Norwegian artists Tom Hugo Hermansen (singer/songwriter), Alexandra Rotan (vocalist) and Norwegian Sámi rapper/joiker Fred Buljo.

The group name KEiiNO was inspired by the name of Fred Buljo’s home town Kautokeino (Sami: Guovdageaidnu). The last part -geaidnu translates to the “way” or “road” which Buljo stated “represents the road that brought us together”.

Their dreams were truly realised after joining forces - a force the Sámi (the indigenous people of Norway) believe you can find connecting with nature. The northern lights, dancing colourful and free, serve as a symbol of how KEiiNO believes everyone should be allowed to feel - regardless of who they love, how they look or where they are from. KEiiNO dares to dream that their music will inspire people all over the world to rise above differences and work together.

The song “Spirit in the Sky” was entered in Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) 2019, it conquered and in the ESC-final the entry received the highest points from the European public’s televoting, winning the televote with an impressive 291 points, ending 6th in the end (including jury-votes).

“Spirit in the Sky” became a huge and popular hit. Since ESC, KEiiNO have released an album “OKTA” and many songs incl. “Dancing in the Smoke” (Norwegian FSC-entry November 2019), “Colours” (Norwegian FSC-entry May 2020), “Monument” (Entry MGP 2021, 2nd place), “Unbreakable” (Norwegian FSC-entry April 2021), “End of Time” (Norwegian FSC-entry April 2022), and “Nights of Thunder” (Norwegian FSC-entry January 2023).

In 2023/2024 KEiiNO have released several new songs incl. “Ritma”, “Get Up”, “Damdiggida” (Entry MGP 2024, 2nd place), “Hero, Baby” and “Disco”. With some of these songs the group have experimented a little in music style, but they also released the melodic song “Insomnia” in November 2023 which was more in their traditional Nordic Scandipop style. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC September 2024.

KEiiNO keep on making music and playing concerts around Europe and are ever popular.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #187 September 2024, called “Insomnia”, is another catchy and melodic Scandipop song by Norwegian KEiiNO. It is a good example of their traditional music sound but they added a 45 second ending in a faster tempo for some excitement and variety. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter KEiiNO again in the FSC for Norway.

"Boneka Tanpa Hati" is a powerful melancholic ballad from Malaysian powerhouse singer Nadeera, which brings about the message of helpless individuals suffering from domestic violence. The song title is translated as "A Heartless Doll", which is a heartbreaking metaphor of domestic violence victims, who are trapped under the aggression of their loved ones and being treated less than human. Thus, they are hoping for freedom, or at least to be happy again.
This song became the soundtrack for serial drama "Syurga Itu Bukan Mudah" on Astro Ria.

FSC Norway - October 2024 - Metteson - Waves​

Representing Norway in October 2024, and returning to FSC for Norway after near 2 years, is the talented, popular and colourful Norwegian pop-singer called Metteson. Here is some more information about him.

Sverre Breivik (born 1993) is a Norwegian theatre actor and pop-singer who breaks male/female traditions with his colourful artistic work. He calls himself Metteson in his music career. He is from the town of Moss south-east of Oslo. He is educated at the Norwegian State Theatre College and after he graduated he began work in the theatre in Bergen where he had roles in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Hamlet’ and a play called ‘Angels in America’.

He has said in interviews that he enjoys performing in the theatre but felt he needed to expand his artistic universe and so he began making music. His first single called “80 Miles” was released in 2019 and his first EP “Convince Me” came in 2021. It got rave reviews and included several popular songs among them the hits “Harder” and “Devotion”. The style was Synth-pop added to Metteson’s vocal style and arrangement.

In 2021 he was awarded a prize as Most Promising Newcomer in Norwegian Pop and was also nominated for a Norwegian Grammy Award as Best Newcomer. He kept on releasing new singles and held concerts in Norway and elsewhere, also joining stars such as AURORA on stage. The song “Under Your Shirt” became popular later in 2021 and he followed it with “Come, Cry”. In March of 2022 he released a dramatic theatrical pop-ballad called “Second Heart” which was the Norwegian entry in FSC December 2022. He also released a couple more singles that year.

In February 2024 he released an album called “Look To A Star” and a single from this album called “Waves” was released a few months earlier in October 2023. A dynamic colourful pop-song with ballad-parts and uptemo dance-pop parts, this is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC October 2024.

Metteson is a talented Norwegian artist, ‘branching out’ in the theatre and in music in his own fashion, showing his artistry and making a name for himself, from whom we will without doubt hear more in the years to come.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #188 October 2024, called “Waves”, is a catchy dynamic pop-song that showcases much of Metteson’s talent in artistry and music. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter Metteson again in the FSC for Norway.

"Diam" is the first single from Malaysian talented singer-songwriter Hael Husaini taken from his latest album "Antonim Part I".
This song is the soundtrack for Malaysian original drama series "My Famous Ex-Boyfriend" where Hael Husaini also became the lead actor. Recently "Diam" has won the National Award for Best Original Song for a TV Series (Malaysia) in the Asian Academy Creative Awards, and will compete among other Asian countries in December 2024.

FSC Norway - November 2024 - Secret Garden - Fionnuala's Violin​

Representing Norway in November 2024, and returning to the FSC for Norway after 3 years, is the Norwegian-Irish Neo-Classical ESC-winners from 1995 Secret Garden. Here is some more information about them.

Secret Garden consists of Rolf Løvland (the Norwegian composer/pianist and Nexus of the duo) and Fionnuala Sherry (Irish violinist) on violin. The duo is based in Norway and has been so from the beginning. With 3-4 million albums sold worldwide they are considered one of the most successful and influential Norwegian groups/musical projects of all time.

Rolf Løvland - born in Kristiansand, Norway in 1955 - was Norway’s perhaps most successful commercial pop-music composer in the 1980s. He wrote many MGP-songs for other artists, including the Norwegian 1985 ESC winner “La Det Swinge” performed by Bobbysocks. In the early 1990s he decided to try something different, and so he started the musical project called Secret Garden, together with the Irish violinist Fionnuala Sherry.

Fionnuala’s violin-playing started at an early age. She graduated with honours from the Music of Trinity College in Dublin. Her professional career started with a 10-year stint as a member of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. She has worked with many musicians. She has also recorded Hollywood movie scores with the Irish Film Orchestra.

Secret Garden made history by winning the ESC in 1995 with “Nocturne”, an instrumental melody stylistically unique for ESC which had 24 words added to the beginning of the song. In the 40-year history of the ESC an instrumental piece had never previously won.

Over almost 30 years they have released 10 studio albums, the last one a Christmas album in 2020 with Cathrine Iversen. Their first album was “Songs from a Secret Garden” which started this musical journey. Of their songs “You Raise Me Up” (ft. Irish Brian Kennedy on vocals), which went on to be recorded in over 40 versions worldwide, is probably the most famous.

They have represented Norway in FSC many times over the years: “The Dream” (ft. Irish Clannad-singer Moya Brennan on vocals) in December 2011, “Lament For A Frozen Flower” in May 2012, “En Passant” in May 2014, “The Voyage” in May 2019, “The Pilot” in April 2020, “Sagnet om julerosen” in January 2021, and “I dette stille øyeblikk” in October 2021.

They have recently released a new album now in 2024 called “Songs In The Circle Of Time” and the album was preceeded by 2 singles earlier in the late summer, the song “Renaissance” and the song “Fionnuala's Violin”. The latter, a beautiful Neo-Classical instrumental song written for Fionnuala Sherry when she was seriously ill some years back, is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC November 2024.

Secret Garden will for sure continue to mesmerize their fans all over the world in the years to come with their beautiful cinematic Neo-Classical instrumental music.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #189 November 2024, called “Fionnuala's Violin”, is a beautiful cinematic piece of instrumental music written by Rolf Løvland. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter Secret Garden again in the FSC for Norway.

FSC Norway - December 2024 - Annie - The Sky is Blue​

Representing Norway in FSC December 2024, and returning to the FSC for Norway after around 3.5 years, is the talented and popular Norwegian (Electro-)Pop artist, songwriter and DJ Annie. Here is some more information about her.

Annie, or Anne Lilia Berge Strand as is her real name, is a Norwegian (Electro-)Pop artist, songwriter and DJ from Bergen, Norway. In 1999, Annie released the single “The Greatest Hit”, which became popular in Norwegian and British underground nightclubs. Annie went on to sign a record deal with UK ”679 Recordings” in 2003, releasing her debut album ”Anniemal” in 2004, an innovative and catchy Electro-Pop album (with influences also from disco, Hip Hop, bubblegum pop, 80s-music, Dance-Pop as well as R&B) for which she received widespread critical acclaim and several Norwegian music awards. The album included her popular club-and-radio-hits ”Chewing Gum” and ”Heartbeat”.

In 2005, Annie released a DJ Mix Album as part of !K7’s DJ-Kicks series and then in 2007 she signed a record deal with UK’s Island Records. She started work on the ”Don’t Stop”-album, an album which was preceeded by the single ”I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me”. The album was delayed several times, however – and Annie finally parted company with Island Records and went on to release the album – including some new tracks – in the autumn of 2009 on an independent record label called Smalltown Supersound. The song “Don’t Stop” from the album subsequently was chosen as the Norwegian entry in FSC January 2010.

At this point Annie took a break from the music scene, focusing on other projects in her life, but she returned to music in April 2013 with two new songs: her club-single “Tube Stops and Lonely Hearts”, as well as her Electro-Pop collaboration with fellow Norwegian DJ Ralph Myerz on the song “Take A Look At The World” which was chosen as the Norwegian entry in FSC July 2013.

Later in 2013 she released an EP called ‘The A&R EP’ which featured another single ‘Back Together’. In 2014 she released a song called ‘Russian Kiss’ and in 2015 another EP was released, called ‘Endless Vacation’. After this Annie took a many year break from music, for the second time in her career, and focused on other projects in her life incl. family life.

In October 2020 she returned and released a new album called “Dark Hearts” to much critical/fan acclaim. The first single preceded the album, the song “American Cars” released in June 2020. This was the Norwegian entry in FSC December 2020. A second song from the album, the title-track “Dark Hearts”, was the Norwegian entry in FSC May 2021. She released a couple more songs in 2021 but then focused on music concerts and writing music until 2024.

In 2024 she began collaborating with producers she had worked with before and the result was the Pop-Trance Club-banger called “The Sky is Blue” which was released in August 2024. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC December 2024.

Annie is without doubt a very talented Pop artist, songwriter and DJ from whom we will surely hear more in the future.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #190 December 2024, called “The Sky is Blue”, is a ‘dreamy’ Pop-Trance Club banger by the talented Norwegian Pop-artist Annie which brings back memories of yesteryear, a track perfect for the dancefloor. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter Annie again in the FSC for Norway.

FSC Norway - January 2025 - Dagny - Strawberry Dream​

Representing Norway in FSC January 2025, and returning to the FSC for Norway after around 2.5 years, is the talented and popular Norwegian singer-songwriter and pop-artist Dagny. Here is some more information about her.

Dagny Norvoll Sandvik (born 1990 in Tromsø, northern Norway), known in music circles as Dagny, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter who has risen to become one of Norway’s most accomplished pop-stars and pop-princesses.

She is the daughter of the vocalist Marit Sandvik and the jazz musician Øystein Norvoll so music runs in the family. After moving to the UK in 2012, she performed on the small club circuit there for a while. After University studies she recorded the song “Backbeat”, which caught the attention of Zane Lowe at Apple Music’s Beats 1 station and appeared on Spotify’s New Music playlist, achieving 300.000 plays in a few days.

She had big success on Spotify and signed with Republic Records. “Backbeat” in an acoustic version was subsequently included in an episode of the famous tv-show ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. She was also credited as a songwriter on Katy Perry’s 2019 song “Never Really Over”, which also interpolated Dagny’s song “Love You Like That”. After a series of singles (incl. “Used To You” and “Hit Your Heart”), the agreement with Republic Records ended and her first album, “Strangers / Lovers”, was released in October 2020 on her own label, Little Daggers.

Before this, in May 2020, she released an EP with the first 6 songs from the album which included her first single, the popular “Come Over”, and also the even more successful second single, the Nordic Electro-pop banger and hit “Somebody”. This was the Norwegian entry in FSC February 2021. That same year she also released a single called “Pretty” in a collaboration with the Norwegian singer Astrid S. In early Summer 2022 she then released a new single called “Brightsider”. This was the Norwegian entry in FSC August 2022. She also released a song called “Highs & Lows” later the same year. In 2023 she played concerts and events.

In June 2024 she released a new EP called “Elle”. It had 8 songs incl. a single called “Heartbreak in the Making” which preceeded the EP. Another song on the album was the catchy melodic Scandipop-song “Strawberry Dream”. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC January 2025.

Dagny has been nominated for Norwegian Grammies (‘Spellemannsprisen’) several times in the past recognizing her talent. She has also collaborated with several artists. She is an artist, singer and songwriter from whom we will without doubt hear more in the coming years.

The Norwegian entry for FSC #191 January 2025, called “Strawberry Dream”, is a catchy melodic Pop-banger that has become popular among her fans and in several pop-circles. The Norwegian jury is happy to enter Dagny again in the FSC for Norway.

Artist: Elica Paujin
Song: "Oh Huminodun"

Elica Paujin is a rising powerhouse singer songwriter in Malaysia. Hailing from Sabah on 20th November 1999, she first made headlines in 2017 by winning the TV singing reality Show "Mentor Milenia" in 2017. Despite her success, she chose to contribute to local Sabahan music industry with Kadazan-Dusun singles such as "Kau Lah", "Momuhobo" and "Araatan". Opportunity knocks on her door once again when she won another reality TV singing competition "Big Stage Season 4" in 2022. In 2023, she released a collaboration song with fellow Big Stage contenstant, Dem Lepak Boyz entitled "Racun", which qualifies for Anugerah Juara Lagu 2023 semi-finals 2023 but failed to proceed to finals.

In 2024, she released "Oh Huminodun" which is composed and written by herself. This song qualifies for Anugerah Juara Lagu 2024 semi-finals, but received the same fate as the song "Racun". Malaysian audiences has voiced out their disappointment over the unjust disqualification of "Oh Huminodun" for AJL finals since it is one of the best songs in the semi-finals line-up. Rumours has spread that there are 2 wildcard slots for AJL finals (on top of current Top 10), where one of the slots has been won by "Oh Huminodun".

"Oh Huminodun" is a pop-ethnic song, which tells the legendary story of Huminodun, the daughter of Kadazan Dusun deity, Kinorihingan and his wife, Suminundu who are believed to live in the skies and rule over Sabahan villages. Huminodun has to sacrifice herself to stop terrible drought and famine across the villages. The villagers believe that due to her sacrifices, all food such as rice, chilli, coconut and ginger are coming from Huminodun's body.

TÄRA aka Tamara Al Zool was born in Italy to parents of Palestinian origin and combines her Middle Eastern roots with European experiencel. The singer pioneered the original subgenre, “Arab’nB” a fusion of elements from Arabic culture with the genres of R&B and soul.

FSC Norway - February 2025 - Alan Walker ft. Faouzia - Last Song​

Representing Norway in FSC February 2025, and returning to the FSC for Norway, is the talented popular British-Norwegian Electronic Dance Music (EDM) -Producer and artist as well as FSC Legend Alan Walker, this time featuring Faouzia on vocals. Here is some more information about them.

Alan Walker is a British-born Norwegian Record Producer and artist in the EDM-genre. Born in England of an English father and Norwegian mother, he and his family moved to Norway in 1999 at age 2. He has since lived in Bergen, Norway and has made his huge music career here.

His worldwide digital song and EDM-hit “Fade” gained attention after its release on YouTube. “Faded”, a remastered vocal version of “Fade”, came in 2015. The rest as they say is history. Alan Walker has in the years since become one of the world’s biggest Electronic Dance Music producers and artists with countless digital hits and productions.

Faouzia is a very popular and accomplished Moroccan-Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. She has released music for 10 years with several singles in the period 2015 to 2020 and many between 2020 and 2024. She also released an extended EP-album called “Stripped” in 2020 and “Citizens” in 2022. Some of her most popular songs have been “My Heart’s Grave” (which won FSC in 2018), “This Mountain”, “Tears of Gold” and “Minefields” with John Legend. She is famous for having a beautiful singing voice with depth, a rich timbre and soulful resonance. She joined Alan Walker on their collaboration for the song “Last Song” on his new 2025-album and is proud of this collaboration. She is in her mid-twenties and will for sure keep on producing music in the years to come.

FSC Norway - March 2025 - KEiiNO - Midnight Gloria​

Representing Norway in March 2025, and returning to the FSC for Norway, is the Eurovision-famous Norwegian/Sami group KEiiNO who won the popular televote in ESC 2019. Here is some more information about them.

KEiiNO, established in 2018, is a Norwegian/Sami Folk-pop group consisting of Norwegian artists Tom Hugo Hermansen (singer/songwriter), Alexandra Rotan (vocalist) and Norwegian Sámi rapper/joiker Fred Buljo.

The group name KEiiNO was inspired by the name of Fred Buljo’s home town Kautokeino (Sami: Guovdageaidnu). The last part -geaidnu translates to the “way” or “road” which Buljo stated “represents the road that brought us together”.

Their dreams were truly realised after joining forces - a force the Sámi (the indigenous people of Norway) believe you can find connecting with nature. The northern lights, dancing colourful and free, serve as a symbol of how KEiiNO believes everyone should be allowed to feel - regardless of who they love, how they look or where they are from. KEiiNO dares to dream that their music will inspire people all over the world to rise above differences and work together.

The song “Spirit in the Sky” was entered in Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) 2019, it conquered and in the ESC-final the entry received the highest points from the European public’s televoting, winning the televote with an impressive 291 points, ending 6th in the end (including jury-votes).

“Spirit in the Sky” became a huge and popular hit. Since ESC, KEiiNO have released an album “OKTA” and many songs incl. “Dancing in the Smoke” (Norwegian FSC-entry November 2019), “Colours” (Norwegian FSC-entry May 2020), “Monument” (Entry MGP 2021, 2nd place), “Unbreakable” (Norwegian FSC-entry April 2021), “End of Time” (Norwegian FSC-entry April 2022), and “Nights of Thunder” (Norwegian FSC-entry January 2023).

In 2023/2024 KEiiNO released several new songs incl. “Ritma”, “Get Up”, “Damdiggida” (Entry MGP 2024, 2nd place), “Hero, Baby” and “Disco”. They also released the melodic and powerful Scandipop-song “Insomnia” in November 2023. This was the Norwegian FSC-entry in September 2024. In late 2024 they released more music including the song “Northern Boy” which was a lyrical follow-up to their former song “Unbreakable.” They started work on a new album to be released in Spring 2025 and the 1st single from this upcoming album was released in January 2025, the catchy Nordic Scandipop-song called “Midnight Gloria”. This is the song chosen by the Norwegian jury as the Norwegian entry here in FSC March 2025.

KEiiNO keep on making cool music and playing concerts around Europe and are ever popular.
