For example, the Huffington Post highlights the fact that Lisa Angell pleasantly surprised the observers thanks to the staging and her interpretation. They also put a link to Wiwiblogg.

And according to Télé 7 Jour, Lisa Angell delivered a majestic and moving performance that caused the applaused within the press center. They remembered that Patricia Kass was also a strong contender to victory according to the odds, giving a honourable 8th place to France.

Must be the first time in a long time the French press had a reason to be positive about ESC

Well this is a good song about which to be positive! :D

My fav this year, I must admit. Last year I quite liked the Dutch entry, but I kept it for me as nobody seemed to be excited about the song. I hope the French entry has the same success this year as The Common Linnets had last year. Bonne chance!!

That would be some achievement!

This would really have benefited from performing in the semis....performing after the positive reaction to the rehearsal would have done wonders :(

Hopefully it still plays out all well

Today, the French media noticed the great French bond withing the odds.

And btw:

On n'oublie jamais, mais par contre (oh Lisa ! "Par contre" is not a very elegant link word !) il faut pardonner."

You are not that sceptical anymore after seeing the rehearsal snippet, are you? :)

I was (and still a bit) sceptical about the motivation of France TV and their desire to win.
It's true the rehearsal made me feel (for once) that they care about the staging and placement of France !!

Every year, I send an SMS for France. This year, I'll do it again :)

I love to support our neighbors and the francophonie :)

At the rate things are going, France will be my #1 come the final! I have never watched a Eurovision final, but I get the feeling that my first votes will be heading Francewards!
