I think she wants to have an over the top performance on purpose but for me it doesn't work at all... With so many songs out of SF1 doing well so far in the rehearsals + some big favorites with weaker performances than expected (especially ) but still a sure qualification I guess will definitely struggle to qualify...
Hmmm.... I dont know what to think about this. I still like the song. But the staging is a bit messy, and doesnt help the whole . I do think Finland will qualify though - but personally I was hoping Saara would take it down even more (but I realize that was too much to hope for....hehe).
Oh my god she is so nice in her press conference, never knew that she is such a nice person!
I think you can really spend a whole evening just talking with her in a bar and it will never get boring.
I like her outfit and to be honest, I was really worried about it after what we saw in the Finnish NF. But I don't like the dancers'/backing vocalists' outfits.
She is my fave personality of the year.
I want her to come back every year, just to give interviews.
She's a real Eurovision fan competing in the contest.
I really struggle to see this qualifying tbh, in this semi with some strong contenders I think it's automatically set to a disadvantage. Not only that I think Cyprus completely 100% well and truly over shadows this song completely. It's not the total trainwreck that it was at the NF, but I don't think it's particularly mind blowing either.
Her vocal performance and charisma alone should see her through. I still have this easily in my top 10, but it will very much depend on the full stage show
She is literally living her dream as she's been wanting to be in the ESC for 20 years. She has been trying to become the Finnish representative for 14 years. I think she has the right to be ecstatic (and show it) at this point.
Plus, she's probably super tired and wound up considering she's had a really busy week - Weds her Eurovision/record reveal gig in London, Thurs a ton of interviews, Fri the record was out, Sat she was meeting fans in Finland, Sun she was live in the Finnish X Factor (she's a judge and she also performed Monsters), flew into Lisbon Monday morning and did the first rehearsal basically straight away.
