Song beating performance is always a surprise for me in an NF, and this time, it's very much a pleasant one. I do like the song, and a lot, actually. It has time for an actual chorus, and I actually LIKE what they do with the drop after it. Revolutionary, I know. I do have a complaint though. I blame [MENTION=11532]EscGeek[/MENTION] for planting this seed in my head but haven't seen anything to counter it: I don't know if she likes the song very much. She seemed not just nervous but both tentative and unenthusiastic in the performance. Before I get fully hyped for this, I want some kind of evidence that she fully believes in this as an entry and stands behind it.

Oh, and change the staging. The visual package was horrific.

As I said before, the only song I enjoyed. I love the studio version but the performance has big problems and was, by far, the messiest of the three. Hopefully they will change it and Saara herself will sound better while performing Monsters. But this has big potential to flop hard and not qualifying to the final so I won't hold my breath.

That feeling when you shaded a song at first quite hard, and then now have to admit that you're actually quite excited that it's been picked because this is an atrocious year that is sorely in need of europops........

8 points. A dangerous entry considering the hype around the artist because it's absolute Eurovision by numbers, but I really hope it can get Finland back into the final. I'm glad I finally have a pop song this year that I can actually get some enjoyment from. Good luck Finlandxcrossed
