Finland aren't as close culturally to those Scandivanian/Baltic places are they? Anyway I found this way more fun than the repetitive Danish song.

I'm not surprised about the Nordics votes...that "Nordic block voting" doesn't exist, Nordics vote for the song they think is better, It has happened sometimes that Nordics voted for another Nordic but It's not a rule like Cyprus voting for Greece

I am suprised and so mad at this! Why the hell people evaluate songs with their neighbors? Finland with Nordics, votes gone to "one"! This makes me SICK! This year Nordics were very strong, and lots of them deserved EVERY SINGLE VOTE! Especially Finland and Denmark!

Sorry to say but I'm relieved it didn't turn out to be the dark horse it could have been...

Sorry neighbors, but childish and obviously gimmicky (and in a quite desperate way). Hope for a better entry next year since for the past 4 years I've liked your every second entry, and disliked the others... so that would mean that next year will be a good Finnish entry again ! ;)

I hoped to see this higher... at least top 15. I don't know what Finland can do to achieve a top 10 placing again - without monsters.

I seriously hope Finland will withdraw. Making it to the final every other years and alwasy ending up in the bottom 5 is just not worth it.

But the songs that made it weren't worthy imo...

However you've been highly unfairly treated the years you deserved so much more (2010 & 2012).

No we shouldn't withdraw, there's no reason, just because we failed? It's not serious, we should keep participating and we are one of the few countries in Europe which can afford a victory

Not because we failed this year, because we fail every year (bar 2006) what's the point in taking part anymore to always be in the bottom.

Next year the contest will be in Denmark. Of course Finland is not going to withdraw.

Of course not, Eurovision is one of the few events that give some fun to our lovely but boring country, Finland will never withdraw.

About sending metal, I don't think so...that formula might not work now because of the juries. Lordi won when It was 100% televote

Because we wouldn't even qualify to the final.

No regrets, I think Finland did it well sending Krista to Malmö, she gave her 100% and although the results weren't good in the final, she has written a chapter in the history of Eurovision with the first ever "gay kiss" on stage.

It doesn't matter what we send, people are just not gonna vote for Finland, simple as that.

xthink what about Tarja Turunen? The juries would love her and she's got a lot of fans. But I guess she's not interested :(
