Exactly my thoughts! The instrumentation is awesome, the vocal parts ruin it... I personally don't hear any language there, just a lot of screams!

I kinda like the folk music in it though, minus all the rest!

Nightwish drama again:
Is Nightwish back on track with the new vocalist Floor Jansen? In the midst of a tour in the US, Nightwish had to make a sudden change of vocalist. The fabulous Elize Ryd (Kamelot) stepped in temporarily and with the hands full of paper with Nightwish lyrics avoided catastrophe on stage. Once again the fatal decision to fire the amazing Tarja was evident. In a swift series of actions Dutch Floor Jansen was announced as the new Nightwish vocalist and had only 10 days with rehearsals before the next concert. And ... she did it! Success!

No offense but it can't get much worse then last year. Finland has some great entries but the NF lineup for 2012 was rather poor.

I totally agree, 2012 was beyond awful. I hope its different this time and they have learned something from 2012 disaster.

The four jurors who will help to decide the Finnish winner of this year’s UMK national contest have today been announced
They are:
Tomi Saarinen who is Head Of Music at Finnish radio channel YleX

YLE messed up again this year and Diandra's name leaked before the official date tomorrow to announce the 12 UMK finalists. Apparently UMK's aim this year is to find an international name and Diandra (18) surely fits that label so one can ask now, even without knowing the other 11 names, is it already done? Diandra is very popular and talented, with amazing voice and likable personality. She comments: "This is so much fun and exciting! This is so different from Idols, where singers are competing against each others, here the songs are. Her song Calling into you is written by Lere Leskinen, Patric Sarin and Sharon Vaugh and she describes it as a midtempo pop song where she gets to display the full capacity of her voice. It has good lyrics and catchy refrain. I'm an Eurovision fan. I always watch it with my grandpa, we make popcorn and good food!"
If the song is good, she is the winner because pretty much everyone loves her here.
