The grower of the season for me, I didn't think I would love this so much as half the time ballads in ESC annoy me. I really like the staging too, with the dark purple hues and the intimacy displayed.

Uncommon & beautiful sounding Maro with Saudade was a delight. I am always looking forward to this g o r g e o u s bridge. And I thought the staging/live performance was superb in the SF.

The thing with Portuguese song is that good parts are really amazing, but the bad parts are really bad as well. Camera work is consistently good tho.

Portugal had the best opening and closing shots. I enjoy it but as others have mentioned, the way that they are positioned in a circle is kind of closed off and can make it difficult for the audience to feel welcomed into the performance.

Oh I don't think so at all. I think it makes the song very intimate and the tv audience actually is a part of the circle in my opinion.

• S10 sounds pretty good, I thought she got a little emotional towards the end. But the staging is really not good.
• Moldova is actually not that bad. Really like the ending shot.
• Portugal a very simplistic staging, love the opening and ending shots. Sound divine.
