My full review of all the stagings we've seen so far together with (++ biggest improvement/surprise to -- biggest damage):

:cz: I love everything here: Song, light work, colours, background, outfits. Vocals are also more than decent now. This can be top 10. Well done! ++
:se: No change to MF. I still like the song very much, best and especially most authentic Swedish song in years. =
:be: They did quite a decent job. I like the colours and the lights. Still not a fan of the song though. +
:me: Very good vocals, solid, quite memorable staging. I wouldn't mind this qualifying. +
:pl: I still hate the song and his voice but the staging is quite good, beside the cheap screen effects. I more or less expected it to be staged like this. =
:ro: This feels so much like a 2005-2008 Eurovision song. Is there still a place for something like this in the contest. Probably. Watch this being a surprise qualifier. Staging is quite good, based on what a song like this needs. =
:ee: This is definitely the song that got destroyed the most by the black sun and I'm so annoyed by it! Without this damage Stefan would have been a top 10 candidate. Now I don't think so anymore. -
:mk: I really don't like her moves and I still don't like the song at all. =
:ie: Gosh this screams NQ all over the place. Poor Irish fans... -
:cy: A very unique staging, very clever made. This will secure their qualification. +
:au: I still hate the song so, so much and I honestly don't now why it's expected to be such a safe qualifier, based on the odds. The staging is even more dreadful than expected. --
:sm: The staging definitely made the song more interesting for me. I think now it has a small chance of qualifying. +
:mt: Just like Ireland this screams NQ all over the place. Actually this could also be an Irish entry and vice versa. Both songs serve the same kind of generic blandness. =
:ge: At least this is quite entertaining to watch. Song still is annoying as hell haha. =
:az: I honestly don't care about this song at all. Every emotion in this song is so forced and feels so artificial. Good vocals but that won't save him. I don't like the idea with the stairs at all. -
:rs: In my opinion they managed to deal with the black sun in the best way possible. I like the mix between red, blue and yellow light very much. +
:il: I liked the original song way more than the revamped version. Now with the staging Israel improved again in my ranking. +
:fi: Staging as expected. =
:am: The studio version was quite annoying for me but I really start liking it with this clever staging. Well done. ++
 No big changes to NF, very good light and colour work. +
:is: The rehearsal clip actually made me listen to the full song for the first time. I quite like the moody staging and golden-brown colour theme. +
:pt: I love their outfit and the chemistry between them. It would be even better with the full power of the LED background. Unfortunately the black song is doing its damage. =
:gr: Amanda is delivering so well live, gonna give her that. I still don't like the song but it's staged very well. The only questionable thing is her staging. +
:at: It seems like the vocal issue is getting better and better. I see us as a safe qualifier. I quite like the colours and the pyro. +
:dk:
Somehow I still enjoy this song very much. I think it actually has a not so bad chance of qualifying. =
:hr:
I really hoped that they would get rid of the dancer, now we even have two dancers! Also the colours don't fit together at all. The pink doesn't fit to the blue background and all in all the colours don't make sense for the song at all in my opinion --
:md: I don't see such a high qualifying chances for them as other people do. This is no Sunstroke Project, this a very dated joke entry. The staging is not that good too. -
:nl: Okay they wanted to go for a simple staging, but in my opinion its too simple and boring, I expected something more modern or more magical. I can easily see this underperforming the fan expectations. -
:bg: I still don't care about the song, but staging is actually really good! +
:ua: Staging is quite good but I don't like the blue they used for the black sun. All in all the black sun is once again too disturbing and distracting here anyway. =
:sl: Quite a good staging. Somehow I want to see them qualifying but I just don't see it happening. =
:ch: I need to wait for the full performance to judge this. I don't think they will qualify though, the song is just too forgettable. =
:lt: No big changes. =
:lv: This looks very entertaining though the black sun is distracting again. =
:al: Probably the biggest mess of all the rehearsal clips. I don't like the whole concept at all, especially the staging and the colours. --

I don’t get what people love about Sweden's staging. I guess there always has to be the one who dislikes it… but I honestly thought the green circle would be something like a green screen where they would project some graphics on to it. I am shocked they really use it as just a green circle. This does absolutely nothing for me, the colour does not fit to anything (if they kept it red at least for the whole time, that would be better)… and green is actually my favourite colour.
I also thought she‘d wear something more indie and casual, which also would be more fitting than that silver glitter thing, who is usually used for bops like Spain or Albania. Are they afraid of what happened to Anna Bergendahl? (Their best entry ever, by the way). It’s funny, every time I love a Swedish song, it’s unpopular, but if I dislike it, it’s top 3 or even winner. (Well, I did like Heroes though).
I have an answer as it's one of my favorite this year (and I loathe ballads)
kinda agree with it being 3min of nothingness but it kind of me reminds me of the bokeh effect which are big circles of lights, a feeling of being fuzzy, dizzy, lost like a blur in the night (green/red like the traffic lights that can cause the bokeh effect) which is enhanced by that thing spinning like something you can't grab and it's out of your hands. I don't know if it's the effect they wanted but it comes across like that to me (when you look at the story told in the lyrics it fits the brief).

Also it seems to be a throwback to the late 60s- early 70s, the mic, the outfit kinda disco-ish, in that period of time you had a lot of sadbangers when you didn't have a shitload of ballads. Women were usually in full glittery dress singing their sadness and -for me- that's what makes it charming. I don't want to see a sad song sang by a sad girl, dressed miserable like Cinderella before the prince IN CASE YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND SHE IS SAD (you know that kind of in your face meaning). I like it when you switch it up a little bit. And it the throwback is indeed correct (I'm not sure at all) that nothingness of a staging can be a hint to that, there wasn't that much of a staging back then apart from spinning stuff like mirrors or panels turning and so on.

So in my eyes, everything connects and is very fitting and that's why I like it

End of my ted talk

That’s an interesting view - unfortunately if that was their intention, I didn’t get it.
All I see is a big mess of pieces that don’t fit together. Maybe there‘s more to come since we haven’t seen the whole performance.
The song itself isn’t that bad (but a bit too mediocre for my taste) but I somehow can’t stand her voice in combination with the glamour outfit and her (almost drunken) moves.

From what i saw today

Australia : Impressive, but dark. Maybe a destiny like tamara in 2019
Cyprus : Hum, it looked better on the pictures. And the voice sound more nice on the record. Might be good anyway
Ireland : It's funny like this.... but she's dead anyway i think
NM : Nice visual, but nothing special
Estonia : Finally the visual is ok, but i still don't understand why they didn't keep the two cow boys
Romania : As it should be.
Poland : Hummmm, dark, with a lot of effects added, i don't find this a very good idea.
Montenegro : I'm curious, is there something special that will happen with this circle in her back ?
Belgium : Nothing special...
Sweden : as expected
Czech republic : yeah i like, but i would have love with more shots

Isn't that kind of the point? I'm not defending it just want to discuss it. I think most people who heard the song without seeing it live would think the staging would include two dancers, lots of lights, stars in the ''sky'', maybe someone with an instrument etc. A bit like Ireland 2018.

I think the randomness of it is a bit fresh, it's unexpected. My idea of the story that is told with the staging is that she is first at home crying on the floor about her lover, then kind of losing it in a nightclub when the lights are flashing only to call out for him one last time with the pain evident as ever but with more acceptance to losing him. Sorry to whoever had to read this low rent analysis.

I mean i like the whole package somehow but in fact both the staging and her dress are a bit schlager-ish in my opinion and don't fit to the character of the song.

To be honest, my biggest pet peeve is still at how disproportionally ginormous the stage is. Unless the delegations have smartass staging directors or you are exuding peak stage presence a.k.a Monika Liu, the staging could feel barren and sad. I see the worse of this in Croatia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, and unfortunately, Sweden. Aside of that, everytime they do wide-angle shots everyone just looks like ants compared to the main platform.

There is a reason. When the arcs open the higher ones come forward occupying a big portion of the frontal part of the stage. We'll have an idea during the first semifinal opening act

Why is there so many questions and soooooooooo much talking about history in the videos in this thread - a thread called "Rehearsals and Live Show Discussion"... ???? I feel i'm back in the 50-60-70-80-90's but WAY worse....

It will look like the opening and interval acts are the main acts of the show. I know there is nothing we can do about it but it still makes me angry because it's not the way it should be.
