They dropped out last year due to financial reasons (they were co-hosting the World Cup). They decided not to return this year.

I'm a bit worried about Netherlands' chances to get through.

I must say Ukraine did not make a very good impression on me (or is it just wishful thinking on my behalf?).
Unfortunately the same goes for Anouk, the whole act was not as touching as I had hoped for... I am not sure of qualification anymore (but she should because of juries).
Montenegro really impressed me!!! They were never in my top 10 - but they can easily end up there! I am sure I will be watching them on Saturday as well.
Moldova - a climber! Loved the stage, the backdrop, the dancers - Really came across as a beautiful act.
Denmark left a good impression as expected, but I am still not a fan of neither the song nor the drummers and the flutist. But will be a strong contender for the final victory.
