I'm here to see Kazakhstan confirm (haha!!)

I'd love that!

god no. the Ex-Soviet bloc is big enough as it without adding them to the mix. I hope they never join.

Booo! I'll be rooting even harder for a Kazakh debut now!

Not possible. K-1 is not a EBU member and things don't look bright for their membership.

Unfortunately the truth :/ Isn't Kazakh oil/gas cash as attractive for the EBU as the Azeri? I mean they got even MORE of that! xshrug xcry

Oh dear Lord

Is it surprising that Belarus has confirmed or did I miss the fun here? hmmm... xthink

Well we hardly see them in the final. XD in 9 years they're qualified 3 times, and following their pattern. It will be another 2 years before we see them again.

That's a better track-record than some other countries that didn't withdraw either, so I don't see why Belarus should be some sort of exception here?

i didn't mean they will withdraw for 2 years, i meant it will be 2 years before they reach the final again.

Yeah I know, but thing is that I responded to Scooby's comment that it was somehow funny that Belarus confirmed... and I guess I don't get the joke because it's not a surprising confirmation by any means.

Ukrainian gimmick singer Olya Polyakova who took part in our NF in 2012 said that she's having negotiations with 1 small country's broadcaster that has already refused from ESC. She's funding her/their participation.

Portugal, Slovakia or Andorra etc....
With this song,

I don't understand what you've put here. But if its a Small country, then i would rule all three of those out, Andorra and Slovakia both said they are not returning and i think Portugal ( who i think will return ) will be having a NF. From what ive read. I'm going to go with the following countries:

Israel,
Georgia,
Armenia,
Azerbaijan,
Moldova

EDIT: Oh god what if its the UK, and the whole "Small country" thing is a lie. I wouldn't put it past BBC.

She announced it few days ago and she said that it's a little Western country that has already announced that they won't participate (or one of those that didn't participate in 2013) and that she will fund everything.
Can't believe that someone can accept such entry lol, though after looking at certain ESC entries in the past I wouldn't be surprised that it's Andorra. I know that some Ukrainian music is popular in Poland but definitely not such kind and it's not a little country.

It would be amazing if it was Luxembourg, with their record of having overseas artists. Slovakia seems the most obvious candidate, though. Not that anything is actually going to come from this.

Olya would be amazing! So she's "buying" a small country?

This seems highly unlikely though... btw calling her a "gimmick" is a tad unfair, she's actually a talented lady.

^ A difference for who? An ordinary singer without money? Then it's not the case.
+ it's cheaper than representing Ukraine)) Though everything depends on that broadcaster. With her ties and money I wouldn't be surprised if she succeeds.

@A-Lister... she's a really talented piano player & performer. But when it comes to this cheap Gaga gimmick role ...
