I don't have, but they are doing good in the semis. One time they will qualify. The need to send a bulgarian big diva (or Azis) to qualify.

Yeah, they are pretty much coming close to qualify since 2011. I hope they do, but not with Azis.

Oh God not Azis, his popularity has decreased rapidly in Bulgaria aswell thanx to lame material and people simply got bored by his image.

But someone like Desislava would be great.

I really hope Bulgaria stays, but in the meantime I do support if they decide to withdraw as a protest against the unfair treatment and the anti-Euro juries corrupting the contest.

Well, I guess people from Bulgaria would know better, but following the chalga music forums... people generally seem to not care about him any more, but I think it has mostly to do with the fact that his material has become alot weaker lately.

That is not true, he has duets even with Andrea and all other currently popular singers..and his videos are very expensive, he is very popular and earns a lot of money from singing, if not, he would stop doing that..

Desislava is the better option for :bg: so far
Or they should send Elitsa & Stoyan for 3 times in a row :D

DesiSlava is actually what @ A-lister thinks for Azis, Desislava is "broken" singer..she is not "in form" any more..and we cold see that even in Bulgarian NF, she lost to Sofi Marinova..

It finished top 5 in the televote. Most people liked it. The jurors though

Bulgaria had the 6th best average in the semi 2 televote, only .44 points behind Switzerland for 5th

There's this thing called an opinion. People are entitled to them, whether it matches with yours or not.

Compare Azis material to Desislava's, that's all I'm saying... anyways taste differs, but Azis is not in his glory days anymore.

Anyhow this discussion should be moved to the Bulgaria thread

Vyara Ankova was re-elected as CEO of BNT and she said that Bulgaria WILL participate in Eurovision 2014 FOR SURE and most likely there will be reality show as selection format. The selection method is still not confirmed, but the participation itself is. BNT will take decision about the selection procedure when Vyara Ankova and the new board of directors enter in their new mandate in the begining of September.

Well it depends on which direction they'll go. I mean, Unser Star Fur... worked amazingly well for Germany.

Well, it's true that it depends on the entry in the end of the day, but I'm generally opposing these "talent/reality shows" because I like artists, not wannabes. It feels so fake and manufactured in a sense.

I agree, I can already smell a failure, it sucks..here in Balkans there is no any great composer who would write for those newcomers and Tv stations don't have money to pay to them to do so, like in Germany

Well, in Germany it was the same case though, the entries were made by random Britons and Americans who didn't have much of a career anyways oh and of course Stefan Raab... but just on paper it didn't look much promising.
