Jeesh, I thought the drop was intentional as well! Good thing nothing too serious happened. They probably had some kind of safety rope or system but still, must have been one heck of a scare for Elina!

As for performances, all three frontrunners had somewhat underwhelming staging IMO. Elina would have benefitted from more intimacy, do the shadow-play for longer than first few moments, more close-ups and less shots of her wandering around with cameramen and wires visible in the background. Didn't quite have the atmosphere it could have. Stig was a bit shaky vocally (as expected), the leaning trick was nice but that was about it, otherwise pretty empty. Same with Ott, some nice lighting but not much else. Nothing to stop them from qualifying, and some stuff could be tweaked in the final, but none of them wowed me with their staging at the moment.

I guess Remedy not hitting Top 4 is partly because the jurors judged the songs and not the performance since 2 entries were music videos? Still, it's quite shocking, because Interstellar is somehow in the top 4...

"La forza" was totally different type, suited her better..."Remedy" would be a NQ for Estonia in Turin TBH, lyrics are also bad..

Yeah, you may not like Remedy as a song, but with Stig botching vocals like hell and Elina managing to remain mostly on point with a lot more demanding song...

Let´s be honest - she had one of the best vocals of the night. Even Ott didn´t hit all notes.

I didn't like "La forza" at all back then, Estonia was very low on my list that year, but that dress and performance had some point, this is all just NTH, pointless mess in the combination with lyrics..
