It's quite poetic. I'm not good at interpreting poetry :lol: but as much as i can catch the song starts with the day ending, when the rain stops time on a road the narrator has taken together with somebody else, but they both see an empty land ahead of them... then it's night and he speaks about broken promises, and it ends with "before you go, you should know i hope that in the light of the dawn you find a new beginning'..... In short, it sounds quite bittersweet and pretty, possibly about the end of a journey (/relationship) where they know it's time to move on and find happiness again somewhere else. But 'aovalgus' is a really beautiful, poetic word meaning first light or daybreak and it really summons a visual in your mind.

It's an atmospheric, epic!!, comforting song and oh so Estonian. What a stunner. I don't find it boring at all. It's a journey. In every sense. A song that truly stops time and envelops you if you let it. If he sells it live (which he probably will), it will be a moment. It's Ott's to lose.

But live will be only in semis, he has to go through the 1/4 finals today with studio verson/official video...

Anna Sahlene could be a darkhorse to challenge if she can still perform live.Ott is here to win though.Aovalguses has clunky key changes,but you can tell they are expecting to develop some staging into the song.He is there to win.
The jury should go for it,even if its dated, then its down to the super final televote.Ott is very talented,and they can add depth to the package for ESC.
