For me personally, the best songs are now "Ring the Alarm" and "With U". But we still dont have any amazing song :(

I was expecting something different from Sven Lõhmus but sill very nice, the best so far. :)

It was originally written by Grete herself, it was in English and was called "Ghost Whispers" or something like that. Lõhmus thought that the debut single must definitely be in Estonian so he wrote new lyrics for it and produced it. So it's about 50% Lõhmus and 50% Paia.

I'm rooting for an entry in Estonian, no need for English... as apparent with the results in ESC. Estonian also happens to be one of my fav languages :)
I think it's safe to say the winner be Estonian song, and it's most likely "Päästke noored hinged". It will be a compromise between the jury and televoting.

Lõhmus is a smart and proud guy it seems, Estonian language entry ftw xcheer

I have to applaud Estonia for the amount of songs they put forward in Estonian. This is what I like to see in Eurovision. I feel really sad when I see some countries not sing in their native language. Well done Estonia!

Not really worth applauding as the percentage of Eesti Laul entries in Estonian keeps declining.

2009 - 5/10 (50%)
2010 - 6/10 (60%)
2011 - 9/20 (45%)
2012 - 7/20 (35%)
2013 - 7/20 (35%)

But yeah, as I said it before, this year's winner is most likely in Estonian. I don't even think any of the non-Estonian entries has a chance to be in the TOP2 superfinal.

I wonder what the percentages are among all the songs that are entered, not just the final 20.

Ring the Alarm would be my choice after having given half an ear to most of the contestants. I really like that one!
Missing Light is also a really good song, I like the voice of the singer!
Meil on aega veel is catchy and nice as for the childrens chorus....But rapping in a language I dont understand is pretty meaningless to me (well, most times I find rap in general quite annoying even when I DO speak the language myself).

Greta Paia's song is nice but they need to fix the ending. The techno-dance ending is far too weak and doesn't fit into the song.

Terribly out-dated, generic, boring, etc. Rubbish.

No this is the definition of Neogeen, Lune Sournoise. By the way, I rather cannot understand why the guy is saying in his song... Plus they wrote "Lune surnoise" at first, so that we doubted it was indeed in our language ! hahahaha

Well, this song isn't that bad but terribly lower than what I can expect from Eesti Laul... :S It stands no chance in the second semi and will meet Liis Koikson and Neogeen in the worst 3 of the series...

But don't worry, there are terribly bad songs but the final will be good, at least better than 2011 that was... not so good !
Héhé, All you need is to smile just like the sun in the sky ! mouahaha

This actually isn't as bad as I was expecting, especially for nine in the morning. They still need to cut it 30 seconds shorter.
