I just listened to Põhja-Tallinn and their song is great. I just wonder how they'll do the children's choir live (and make it sound good) as it seems to be the main hook of the song.

At around 3:13, Maia sings the choir part herself, i think it may give us a clue how it will sound on stage.
And the Youtube video for the song has 827K views, soonly it will be 1M which is way above Estonian standards.
It may win regardless of live performance, due to this extreme fame.

Well I am quite sure that they may do a horrible live show and end 1st on televote. The question is all about how high will the jury rate them as the jury fav will be most likely something like kõrsikud.

Yeah it seems the jury will be their biggest obstacle and they have completely tossed out televoting favourites in the past Estonian selections.

The only time when televoting favourite didn't win Eesti Laul was in 2009 when we sent Rändajad instead of Destiny.

Why thankfully?

The only time when televoting favourite didn't win Eesti Laul was in 2009 when we sent Rändajad instead of Destiny.

Well, they did it with Ithaka Maria aswell... well she wouldn't have won perhaps but atleast faired better if it weren't for juries.

As for 2009, the juries SAVED it though ! Thank God the masterpiece 'Rändajad' won and not that generic kitsch 'Destiny'.

I would choose Ithaka Maria song as the best one that we haven't send to represent Estonia. Still listening this masterpiece. I believe that it would have done so great! But now we won't ever know, how well or bad it had done.

I believe that Laura will try again in future. And Destiny wasn't her best song

Imo, Laura's best try so far was with Moonwalk. The Estonians must've been high when they sent Let's Get Loud over that.

Just listened a radio interview with Põhja-Tallinn and this is what they said regarding Eesti Laul:
Studio version of "Meil on aega veel" was recorded with two rappers and six children. For EL they will just reduce the number of children to four. This means no Maia, so there will be two rappers and four children on stage. They still hope to get the whole band on the stage using "innovative solutions". I guess they might try using holograms?!

So their "children" must be more than 16 years old... BTW I don't like this solution. They should keep the band as it is (thus loosing one member at least...) with Maia singing the chorus...

ESC won't allow them to use children though

If I were them I would re-work the work not to include the rappers

Eesti Laul has the same age limit as ESC, so they'll use 16-year-olds, who can still be considered as children (but a lot less adorable of course ).
