This ranking is incredibly hard to put up for me. This year is so extraordinary good, I just dislike the last 9 songs!!! In the past years there had only been nine songs I liked!

Update (Russia included and some minor changes). This is final now.

Because there are so many good songs this year I'm giving 12s only to the the cream of the crop!

Songs in the middle of the road. Harmless or sweet or pleasant but nothing too exciting about. No really bad song in here though.

Okay, now the dislikes. Fortunately I had to place just a few songs down here. I'm sorry for everyone who likes those songs or who are from these countries. But for some, mostly different reasons, I just can't. They didn't click even after a few times listening and some have something even annoying. But like in every game there have to be some that come last. One appreciation point because some even seemed to try.

I'm sorry but this one gets a big fat ZERO from me. It's a song which really makes me cringe, that lets my toenails roll up. I know it's rather popular here than not, but sometimes you just have that with a song. It's a bland rip off (Belarus Naviband), the voice of the girl is shaky and off and I can't stand that terrible yelling and want to yell back: I say NO, NO, NO all the time.

I think overall this year is solid enough and weirdly inoffensive, but I feel like my patience levels are low right now or something. Bulgaria and The Netherlands both left good first impressions with me but I've had to move them down to 8 points as I haven't felt inspired to mash that replay button. I believe they can rise again with a live performance. Azerbaijan and Israel are both great fun and I think fit well wearing my 10 points. The 12s meanwhile are my super hype songs. I'm lucky usually to get three or four, and I've got six this year! My number 1 will probably end up either Georgia or San Marino, performance dependant, with Slovenia having a shot as well if the revamp doesn't pop my balloon. It needs to keep the atmosphere in the verses that I adore so much.

Of course I'm sad that there won't be any ESC this year, but literary half of these entries I would never ever go back to, it's a really bad year, in fact everything under my top. 20 i'd probably skip again (sure I can watch the Russian video, but the song alone? Nah...), maybe it's a blessing in disguise that Eurovision will be pushed for a year after all although I feel for the few good entries that won't get the possibility to shine on that stage.
