Thanks for the advice, that's probably the way to go. I heard that in Sweden you don't have to pay if you're the one receiving the call, only the callers so that saves me a bit of money, too.
Yup this is correct! :) I was shocked when I found out you have to pay to receive calls in the US.

Thank you for the info and links. Well, I have an IPhone so I don't know if a prepaid SIM would work since I would think they're all locked to the carrier. Bummer. I suppose I have to rely on WiFi afterall. Though Cell Phones are a whole lot cheaper over here. Maybe I can buy a cheap one and bring it along and once Im in Sweden I'll by a Sim Card.

Dunno if it has been said, but if you are on a contract phone, it isn't locked to the carrier. I have my Galaxy on Optus, but it allows Sim cards for any carrier because you are on contract, so still have to pay.

Is anybody familiar with the Copenhagen airport? Is there a place where I could go to there? I'd would be convenient if I could take care of things there..

Well, it would probably be better for you to get a Swedish sim-card... but a Danish would probably work just as fine (as long as people use the country-code calling or texting it).

I think you can get sim cards in a similar fashion there as in Sweden, but I'm not sure.

I think Kastrup Airport has some electronic shop, but not too sure about that either. I doubt they would have cheap unlocked phones there though since airports usually have more expensive and limited products.

It'd presumably cost you much more to get a Danish SIM-card because you'd still be calling with a foreign SIM-card. Just wait 'til you get to Sweden and walk into any convenience store/supemarket/kiosk.

Actually not THAT much more since it's the EU price, but sure it'll cost more than a Swedish one that's for sure.
