That´s the same thing in Germany, too. Many people love this song, but there are a lot of people who hate it.
But the success of the song means so much in Germany. Last year, nobody knew, who will sing for our country and this year, everyone talks about her.
So i hope, that she will be very successful. And these are good news from you, AlekS, that the Ukraine Jury will give Germany points.
(Sorry about my english, but school is too long over)....

Well, the good thing is that people only vote for their favorites and not their least favorites. "Satellite" may be a love/hate kinda song but as long as the lovers will call in for it and support it germany should be okay.
The worst thing that can happen is having a mediocre song that nobody loves or hates and then will completly forgotten and nobody is going to vote for it!!

By the way, Stefan Raab (and his team) will be airing his daily show "TV Total" from Oslo during the ESC week. He already did this in Istanbul in 2004, with Max Mutzke. Like in 2004, they will probably rent some unused studio. He will not only inform the German audience about Lena's week in Oslo, her rehearsals etc., but he will also invite other participants of this year's ESC. Plus, he will present Oslo and its inhabitants of course. And hopefully Lena will also be invited to a Norwegian TV show then.

Lena will be on #1 in Germany for one more week (next week), but the week after that she's gonna lose her position to the guy who won the German idol show (German version of "American Idol") yesterday. There's nothing to do against Idol, the final show last night was watched by more than 7.5 million Germans..

But I hope Lena jumps back on #1 when the ESC is coming closer.

It has now been revealed that she is going to stay on #1 this week. So she'll make it to 5 weeks on #1 before dropping to #2 or 3.

At the moment, things are a bit quiet (due to Lena taking her exams and not being on TV at all) but in May, when her album is released and she's gonna have some more performances, things are gonna get "lenaesque" again.
