How the hell Nicklaus Freedom is only third in the odds. I found it the only song with some hope to be in the final.
I don't know how the songs sound live but I have the impression of a total flatness, Nicklaus appart.
The studio versions are a bit meh. Maybe live things change

The only real mishap I noticed was Maia Maia not hitting the high note the first time. In the second performance she made it. Lovers of classic Eurovision gotta like this entry, and her outfit was great. (One thing I enjoyed: Melodi Grand Prix isn’t a pain to the eye, as opposed to Benidorm, Sanremo etc.)
Søren is very good, the biggest grower. It’s almost like the Portuguese winner of Eurovision: it could fail because it’s boring or it could go all the way. Reiley’s falsetto was pretty good too (but he should rest his voice now).
Of course, my favourite is still Eyjaa. I’m happy they kept their dresses from the YouTube version.

His falsetto is okay, I think, but there is constant backing.

I'm rooting for Sonne tonight. His song is the most unique one and sounds fresh imo.

it really doesn't haha. it's really just rock by numbers nothing different to pop by numbers.
The most unique package has to be soren with lige her.

It's fresh in comparison to the other songs imo. But I have not listened to the full songs so maybe my opinion will change when I see the performances!
I had to laugh so hard because I read one word wrong; I read "efforts" instead of "effects".

The hosts actually addressed that directly: "Denmark hasn't qualified for the Eurovision final two years in a row now - so that's why we've summoned some grown-ups."
The male host is funny. (And is born in the host city.)
