It's one of the better Danish entries of recent years, and if 2023 continues to be dreadful, Denmark will stay in my Top 10. I am not crazy about the hectic electronic beat, the autotune and the intoniation of Septem-buh/Remem-buh and the chorus. But the verses are very nice.

I think juries will love it and it could surprise in Liverpool. There is always a song that fans don't like and that does surprisingly well. I get these vibes from this song.

I only listened to it once, as did I to the rest of the songs with the batch input of Saturday night, and this one together with Malta stand out for me.

OMG The live performance at the "aftershow party" was utterly tragic.

I was afraid of him not being able to pull it off live due to all the autotune and vocal effects and the backing track in the Dansk Grand Prix but.. he basically didn´t hit any notes in that live performance. Granted, it was the aftershow party, no big stage etc.. but dunno, you should be able to hit most of the notes of the song which you will have to perform at Eurovision in front of 160+ million viewers, no?

Denmark better take 5 background singers with them and skip the dancers...

Anyone citing alcohol should hear the other DMGP artists perform at the same afterparty flawlessly

I cant believe a song with heavy vocal effects that is reliant on pre recorded vocals could be hiding poor vocals!!!!

Some artists do think that such effects are "nice" and "elevate their songs", though.

Just look at Loreen´s sophomore album. She´s got one of the best voices in the industry and she sounded like she was under water most of the time. Duncan Laurence has also started to heavily use autotune and vocoder effects (which he shouldn´t be using since his voice is so pure and clear)... and we still have artists like Troye Sivan and Charlie Puth who are good singers but they use autotune and vocal effects a lot (don´t ask me why).

I expected Reiley to be a decent/good singer, at least... of course, there will be the option to take many background singers with you and somehow heavily rely on the backing track at Eurovision but the lead vocals still have to be performed live... he really needs some vocal coaches..otherwise, it will be worse than "Halo" in May Oo

I've only seen EYJAA perform other than Reiley... and as a fact, they are more experienced than him and more professional in generel... and maybe not as drunk ;)

We just don't know, that's all.

Søren also sounded very good at the same afterparty

We wouldn´t be talking about :dk: if they wouldn´t choose a pretty bland and forgettable radio song. It just bores me to death and the only thing I really remember is that Reiley is pulling out his inner Cher in the chorus. xthink

I give him and his song :3:, it´s not unlistenable but just plain boring. xbored

if he can repeat the studio vocals live, he might even have my vote, otherwise not, and the song seems a bit unoriginal to me, although I don't know why, I think I've heard this song before....

This should be taught in schools as to why pre-recorded backvocals should not be allowed in ESC.

Couldn't watch the Danish final cause there were too many shows at the same time.
But when i saw the 3 finalists i thought that Eyjaa flopped badly but i just saw their performance and they were flawless honestly so what did happen???
It's a missed opportunity for Denmark to have an excellent result in my opinion.
I also liked Sonne a lot more than this ... and saw that the public also voted for him. It's the jury who gave the victory to Reiley. And a jury should know that there is no autotune at Eurovision...

Since I watched Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023 Final live, online from the UK, on Saturday evening (11 February 2023), I've made a video containing my opinions on all eight songs, in order of performance (based on DMGP 2023 Final performances), and my ranking from eighth to first in My Eurovision Scoreboard.
