I bring my Valentina love with me everywhere. Love is the breath of life, "my life, your life, love" as Valentina would say. I've also brought along my new found Gypsy aura and my well wishes for Denmark and Emmelie de Forest as well.

No but i'm warming to the song a little bit. I always thought it was just "ok" and couldn't see what all the big fuss was behind it. I thought it was a relatively safe fan favourite. I can't say anything bad about it really, it's nice. I still think Ukraine is probably going to win if I had to put a bet on.

It sounds like you have a lot of room for things other doesn't have a room for....... Do you have room for one used tin whistle and two used drums after the 18th of may?

A Ukranian win would be worse than a Danish one. I can see the news headlines with the giant carrying her on stage.

I do, seeing as Valentina's Love is the only thing I currently carry and her light bowl. I indeed have a lot of room. Emmelie can leave me with her tin whistle (and whistle man) and her two drums if she needs storage.

It would be quite a novelty win no doubt. Past few years winners have been a bit plain. Emmelie wouldn't be a bad winner even as she'll restore a little bit of ethnic flavour to the contest. It's just been western pop for the last what 3 years that has won.

I tell Jacob (the whistle player) who lives just round the corner :mrgreen: that I finally have found some storage space for him and the drums

I look after it for her, so actually i'm completely free at the moment as she currently has the light bowl in Malmo.

I'm afraid that she might be given the 2nd spot to perform in the final just to prove that the running order doesn't affect the winner. :/

I voiced the same sort of suspicion a few weeks ago, but apparently they get drawn into first half or second half? But even in second half, I can see them placing her early. But then, do they want to annoy dear neighbours? They've already made the Denmark/Norway semi final split possible, out of consideration for neighbours. Maybe she can be around 4th or 5th - like she is in the semis.

Jacob has just promised that within a week everyone in Malmö will play the tin whistle.... what a concert to look forward to

That little concert at the presser was too funny ;D
Interesting idea though, if Jacob manages to teach journalists to play a bit of Only Teardrops without hurting our ears, I'll apploud him :mrgreen:
