IMO this has a very good potential to win ESC 2013 and I would not be upset if it does. Good luck Denmark!

This is certainly Denmark's best entry in a very long time, probably ever. Really big chance for Copenhagen 2014. Beautiful song!

Those are big words :D But that's your opinion =)
I think that its a nice song from Denmark, but it could end up high only because of this weak year. Last year it wouldn't have been one of the favourites.

I agree with you there. When it first came out and before most other countries, I thought it would rank high but probably wouldn't be a big favourite. But I do personally think it is better than Chanée & N'evergreen and A Friend In London who both finished top 5.

It´s a really good entry, but I doubt it will win, Denmark mostly has songs with potential but it ended up mostly between 3rd and 10th. And don´t forget, it´s a year with many ballads and this can be the reason not to win.

I just do not get why people say this might win. Denmark can be happy if they qualify to the final at all.

Hmm...I guess because a lot of people find it a great song? Shouldn't be rocket science.

Denmark can be happy if they qualify to the final at all.

Oh please, be a little less biased. I know it's probably hard for some people to accept that we're for once favoured by the fan-(r/w)ankings and bookmakers, and I know music is subjective, but even I who hate the norwegian and german entries more than anything else, have learned to acknowledge and accept the fact that both will probably be in for a good result as they've obviously got some qualities I'm not aware of. Doing anything else would be living in denial.

Personally I do not actually have a problem with the song and well, I do recognise that is traded high. Exactly this is why I am wondering. Maybe someone could explain to me where the mass appeal in such a bland and anonymous song should be as so far I do not see any. xshrug
However, I believe DK will qualify though but I reckon that anything more than a Soluna Samay like result would be down to this year's incredibly weak standards. It is just no song which screams Eurovision success IMHO.

Not many winners screamed Eurovision success. It can't be every year that there's a Fairytale or a Euphoria. Denmark this year has a song that people like and, I imagine, it will get a sufficient jury percentage, too.
On the other hand, I consider this to be an open year so, I won't be surprised with any winner. My feeling is that Denmark will do it in the end but that's the beauty of Eurovision..you can never be sure

Maybee your right. I give 12 pts. to more than one song, and when it comes to voting well I can only vote for one song. Maybe no one votes for Denmark even though they like it....... Im going to have a nightmare tonight :?

More than Denmark I think Norway has a bigger chance to flop. I like both songs very much, gave them 12points, but Margaret's song may be not as appealing to ESC audience as Emmelie's. It's kinda heavy while "Only Teardrops" has IMO ingredients of standard ESC hit (catchy chorus, some ethnic touch, good performance). It's not nessesarly a bad thing when the song also has "something" and to me, it has. Of course from time to time some favourites flop and it can happen to both or one of the girls. We have to wait and see. I personally really want to see both Emmelie and Margaret in the final.

Valentina? Definately... I voted at ESC twice, in 2010 and 2011 and I've sent per 2 SMS's for two entries, I'd vote more than one song if I could vote
