I know I said that this was a boring entry or something like that but I've listened to the full song a few times since it won and it's amazing! Well done Denmark for going with the underdog!

I'm quite happy with this song: I admit it is kind of harder to like it at first but it grows on you; 7 points.

Hey, you liked AFIL as far as I can recall!

Yup, which means I liked 1 entry from 2000 (when I started watching)-2012, that's not overly impressive. With Emmelie we can count that as two.

FINALLY a song to get excited about! It's the first song this year I kind of like, now that it seems certain the song from Belarus will once again change :-(...

It's OK for what it is. I disagree with comments it's unESC it's pure eurovision if you cut it. I can't see this winning on the linked performance. It's the best of 2013 so far yet I doubt this song will lead the pack.

I loved the song already from the short snippet release (I don't want to be a joykiller), but I wish the producer pimp the song up a bit. A more distinct beat, make the drums spectacular and most important work on the chorus.

BTW her vocals are very similar to Moa Lignell, for example:

I listened all songs except of winner. Almost all songs were very nice. But my favourite is Mohamed Ali's Unbreakable. Sounds like "Shout it out" by David Lindgren (from Sweden's 2012 national final also he was my favourite, too). And song came second. So I hope that winner song sounds better for Denmark. My favourites follow (random order) with Louise Dubiel - Rejs dig op, Daze - We Own The Universe, Jack Rowan ft. Sam Gray - Invincible.

Looked now at the songs that went to the superfinal...sure that Mohamed Ali is a man? his moves is a bit too feminish for that kind of a song if you ask me...and the voice was more shaken than a milkshake...

Simone did what she could do with a generic song like that...it is hard to make it better to be honest, cause it is too slow. :p

No Denmark, finally you got it completly right! ;)

I can't believe he went through X factor with such poor vocals. Perhaps he got superscared yesterday?

Wikipedia said:
Karina Foss Fenn of Sony Music Entertainment Denmark was quoted as saying: "It is rare that we in the music industry encounter a natural talent like Mohamed Ali. Both in his vocals and his physique, he oozes musicality - and his voice has both power and a sweetness that makes his rhythm quite unique."[2] The music will no doubt to reflect Mohamed's personality". This contract resulted in a debut album Keep It Simple of 12 original songs and his single "Rocket" became one of the best downloaded songs.

What happened?

Congratulations Denmark. Seems like people in here are generally quite satisfied with the choice made.
Being on holidays I have a hard time listening to the songs (bad connection), but Emmelie was not my personal favourite. Looking forward to hearing and seing the whole performance when I get back home.
Untill then I take your word for it that is was a good performance all in all...
