This remix is just awful! And it's about the worst und incongruent video i've ever seen! The mimics have NOTHING to do with the lyrics! Is he mocking himself? So disappointed!

I think it lost a bit of charm with new version, the older one was more sincere.. It was simplier and better for me, now they added some dramatic music, I don't like..it's more ESCish now!!

Tell me it's not true X-OI They totally killed what was the best thing about the song. The pureness and simpleness made it so strong and the best part was the only-voice-part. It stood out because of it. And now it's lost and it is like all the other ballads that artificially build up with lot of instruments and it feels cheesy. It never felt cheesy before and that was what I loved so much about the song.

I know that a lot of people thought it was boring, but for me it stood out in the pile of ballads with its "taken-back-ness". Now it lost a lot of its uniqueness.

There's this term popularized by music vlogger Todd in the Shadows called the "white-guy-with-acoustic-guitar song," used to describe insincere love songs where the message is covertly "F**k me because I'm pretending to be sensitive" (e.g. One Direction's "Little Things," James Blunt's "You're Beautiful"), and this song's membership in that genre was my #1 complaint about it. Not anymore. This went from a 3 that I had forgotten to change to a 0 to a 5.

It's incredible really. This was my least favourite song for this year by some margin. Somehow they have managed to barely improve it, despite making large changes. It has got a little bit better, but it honestly sounds as if they have just chucked in some nice music in the hope it will make it better, as opposed to actually making it better. It will remain at #40 for me. Really amazed how so much change can have so little impact...
