Losing the opera duet is a shame, but I'm still all in on "Beat of my Heart."

It's a bummer that "Shake Dat" got eliminated but here's my top 3 of those who qualified. Please choose one of those three songs because the last time i liked cyprot song was in 2008

:12:-Ioanna Protopapa - Beat of My Heart
:10:-Minus One - Shine
:8:-Doody - Magic (could be first without his annoying accent)

Some rumors around, claim that these are the 6 finalists:

If those really are the final 6, then I hope Shine wins. I liked Said it all Before and In These Arms so I'll be sad if they are out. I strongly dislike Without your Love. Please don't pick that, Cyprus!

My god, that supposed final 6 are all just terrible, I have no hope for Cyprus this year...

Listened through the six, not totally awful at least. I think I like "Shine" the most, that is the song that can be made into something great. "Stone In The River" could have been awesome, I like the singer and the lyrics, it is just the phrase Stone in The River that I don't understand...i mean a stone doesn't drift by with the water.

FRENCH!? I found it didn't sound greek, but if they are singing in french, than Evridiki was singing hindu in 2007....

Of course it's French ! But the accent is so strong that I have to concentrate a lot to understand it.
All the girl part is in French + when they sing together.

Is Indila responsible of this praise of French ?

I found that (with another candidate) :
Instead of "je cours" (I run), she sounds saying "Je cuis" (I'm cooked)

I only listened to the Top 10 songs but boy, this is definitely the strongest NF of they year to date. There are a bunch of great songs left. To me it sounds like Cyprus needs to go with a slower song in 2015 as they are the strongest ones left in the running. I also think that the guys are stronger than the ladies this year.

My clear favorite is Christos Rialas with "Meine". He has an amazing voice and it's sounds authentic. This will definitely please juries but more importantly, it pleases me :). "One Thing I should have done" by Giannis Karagiannis is also fantastic and I think is more accessible from a mainstream point of view. I also enjoy "Without your love" and the only female that I consider a candidate is Christina Tselepou - In These Arms. So yes, tons of ballads but they're just superior to the rather trashy upbeat songs. The fact that I was able to enjoy four songs a lot is quite significant so I hope Cyprus chooses wisely.

Your favourite would have been the Iconic Eva Diva with her world wide hit "Come and Fight For Freedom", had you seen it. Unfortunately Christer Bjorkman came walking on spitting venom like a poisonous dragon and corrupted the entire panel resulting in her failure, despite being a clear fan favourite and the other Cypriot panel members stating they liked it.

It is definitely the best upbeat song and more deserving than some of the others but wow, those lyrics are really sucky.

Why is Christer there, shouldn't he be busy pushing for Eric Saade's victory in Sweden?

She claimed those were the lyrics because of all the bad stuff going on in the world right now with Syria, Ukraine, Iraq etc, and that it was suppose to help unite people for a common good.

Because Cyprus had the bright idea of inviting the HOD of on of their current 38 eurovision enemies into their selection. He clearly screwed them over big time, and all night the Cypriot jurors were constantly asking what he thought and taking his opinion for gospel. It was quite sickening to watch tbh.

Justice for Eva Diva and Maria & Christina. I say we march the streets of Cyprus in protest. I'm absolutely disgusted by the hate campaign Bjorkman masterminded. I read that "Come And Fight For Freedoms" composer is Bjorkman's nemesis, who once even tried to get the evil Swede arrested (this was gossip from escforums). Apparently the composer has entered around 300 songs for melodifestivalen with only 1 ever advancing to the final 30. I'll have to do some research on this.

This is for sure the worst National Final of the year. It's absolutely abysmal. Bjorkman obviously dumped Eva Diva because of his rival, he has no excuse for ditching "Sailing Ships Pirates and Dragons" though. He just has absolutely atrocious taste and clearly a thing for young boys singing dull pop.

Both songs would have become my number 1 of the year, had they been selected.

Wow, if this is actually true then I will be even more annoyed because it's clearly sabotage on his part with absolutely no doubt.
