First impressions for each of the songs (and a thumb up emoji for everything that I liked):
Mila - Basically what I expected.
Mia N. - Not my thing. Too sugary and sweet for me. I´m scared that this might be the Roko Blažević trap this year.
Marko - A contender. I know that he is one of the favorites, but it still surprised me. Bonus for not being in English!
Jessa - Repetitive lyrics aside, this is probably my favorite upbeat song of the selection.
Zdenka - See Mila.
Tina - Might be the biggest letdown for me along with Negovetić. A slow song but without interesting and intriguing elements.
Roko - Its alright. Giving me "Pravila Igre" vibes. Pleasant overall. Maybe it will grow on me more on future listen.
Bernarda - See Mila and Zdenka. Weaker than "Colors" for me. I found that pop breakdown too messy.
Erik - I prefer "Reci mi". Both songs were just okay and nothing more but the last year one had more of an indie vibe which I prefer to this. Maybe its also "Reci mi" being in Croatian that I found it more interesting.
Toma - Props for trying a different style but its still not my thing. Just like Tina and Mia N., this ballad feels very generic.
Elis - Never in a million years would I think that Elis would subvert my expectations, but it actually happened. Miles ahead of her two previous attempts. Probably still not a contender and I´m scared of stage performance after what she did on Dora 2020.
But judging studio version only, you have my props.
Ella - Like many others, yet again, its what I expected. This is an easy listen and I even prefer it over her previous attempt. Still, I think its nothing more than okay.
Tia - Nothing much to say except that I really enjoyed it. Very solid. Here is your like.
Mia D. - Before listening, I thought Dimšić would have more of a cheesy entry than Negovetić. Ended up being the opposite. This was quite pleasant and even solid. I need to hear this again, but it definitely stands out to me among many others.
